RBS Retail Efficiency team is looking for a Worldwide Site Merchandising Leader to spearhead the global Site Merchandising program, driving $1.7B in incremental Gross Merchandise Sales (iGMS) and $700M in Free Cash Flow by 2026. Leading a diverse team of 40+ Merchandizers, you will oversee marketing storefronts, vendor-funded campaigns, and strategic marketing initiatives to enhance customer engagement across Amazon's WW stores. Your role demands expertise in developing and executing marketing strategies across 11 marketplaces and 44 product families/group lines, optimizing storefront performance through data-driven decision-making, and balancing growth targets with profitability metrics while maintaining customer experience excellence. This position requires a unique blend of retail and marketing expertise, technical knowledge, and strategic leadership to drive Amazon's next phase of growth in site merchandising.
Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for scaling vendor-funded campaigns to drive profitability and reduce customer acquisition costs through efficient paid advertising strategies. You will influence senior stakeholders in Central Marketing and Retail to drive standardization initiatives and develop technological solutions for improved productivity. Leading the expansion of Marketing Storefronts ownership within RBS, with potential to grow to 200+ storefronts generating $3.7B in iGMS, will be a key focus. Your technical acumen will be essential in partnering with technology teams to automate processes and improve operational efficiency, targeting $100M in cost optimization improvements. As an organizational leader, you will develop and execute global site strategies, manage resource allocation, and foster a culture of excellence within the team. You will oversee a team of 40+ Site Merchandizers, make critical decisions on leveling, job family assignments, and hiring strategies based on task complexity, cost, skillset, and language requirements.

The Retail Business Systems (RBS) group is an integral part of Amazon online product lifecycle and buying operations. RBS’ vision is to accelerate Amazon’s flywheel by fixing catalog defects and scale critical store operations function by standardization, automation and defect elimination through its selection, defect elimination, product, tech and paid selling partner support operations pillars (PSPS/AVS). The tasks handled by this group have a direct impact on Retail Cost to serve, customer buying decisions and vendor experience. This role is within Retail Efficiency program that supports both AVS and non AVS Tier 1 vendors through providing business operations services.
