A Snapshot of Your Day:
Being part of the MENA Office D2C team puts you in a leading position at the centre of excellence responsible for maximizing customer experience, brand presence and sales growth. This role will be critical in supporting Samsung’s D2C eCommerce strategy and overall D2C growth by overseeing strategy, forecast and supply chain across Samsung MENA markets with the key objective of driving business growth by identifying gaps, opportunities, potential and optimizations. You will have the opportunity to directly contribute to achieving our growth ambition by interpreting data, and making grounded recommendations to improve direct eCommerce channel performance and consumer experience across digital touch. This position requires extensive experience with Microsoft Excel, analyzing cross-channel data, and creating advanced dashboards for senior management.

Role and Responsibilities

How You Will Make An Impact

Managing, consolidating, analyzing and understanding the sales trends in MENA region and tell the story of business trends, patterns, and outliers and deliver easy to read dashboard visualizationsIdentify, measure, and monitor key performance indicators, while making recommendations impacting sales performanceMonitoring sales and forecast data of local offices, identify issues (upload error, data accuracy,etc. ) and escalate to management and global team in a timely manner to take appropriate actionBuild recommendations based on the analysis and monitoring of the collected data and KPIsAnalyze user engagement and sales conversions focused on categories, product pages, and checkout pages and identify key drivers to recommend growth opportunitiesMaintain weekly/monthly/quarterly and ad-hoc reports that measure performance of e-commerce KPIs with special focus on forecasting, supply chain and demand planningWork with the D2C Team and regional D2C Head to develop the level-up strategy focusing on both sales expansion and customer experience improvements with strategic focus on category development, premium experience along with customer loyalty and retentionAlign global direction, regional strategy and local subsidiaries’ plans and operations to meet deadlines and schedules for strategic short-term and long-term initiativesIdeate and lead on new projects (incl. fintech, channel optimization, CX, UX, sellout platforms) targeting sales growth for D2CLead on performance analysis on regional and market level and derive strategies, insights and action plans to ramp up sales, overcome operational bottlenecks and enhance customer experienceIdentify opportunities and risks for Samsung vs. competition within D2C environmentsBeing an effective, assertive and professional member of the project delivery team by developing consensus across different stakeholders internal and externalSupport markets with building infrastructure & framework to drive D2C sales & strategic projects

Skills and Qualifications

What You’ll Need:

8+ years of relevant work experience within a fast growing eCommerce environmentNative Korean, and Fluent EnglishPreferred to have  Global brand e-commerce experienceAdvanced experience with Microsoft Excel (e.g. ability to create macros and functions that can ease report creation) for report automation with a high sense of numeric analysisAbility to deal with data ambiguity, accessing different systems and matching/attributing the right figures to the right definitions.Strong understanding of D2C sales business cycle and customer behavior within MENA regionStrong grasp of end-to-end and eCommerce operations, covering sales, supply chain, P&L, digital marketing, payment method, analytics and customer experienceProven experience in eCommerce sales and project management, with deep knowledge of forecasting, demand planning and supply chain managementStrong problem solving skills (can‐do approach) to identify areas of issues and opportunities, evaluate options and provide clear recommendations/strategic plans for business growthComfortable in a cross-functional environment; flexible and open to ideas from all areas and levels of the organization, while also confident and decisive in a matrix organizationOutstanding stakeholder management on different levels and geographiesExcellent analytical, problem-solving, commercial and technical skillsStrong experience in designing, conducting, and analyzing secondary and/or primary researchConceptual and strategic, and must embrace being an owner; getting involved in business detailsHigh attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneouslyExcellent time management to work on tight deadlines & handle the pressure of ad-hoc requestsAbility to operate comfortably and optimally in a fast-paced and highly dynamic environmentStrong ability to synthesize complex data and insights into clear, actionable strategiesDemonstrated ability to learn quickly, and manage change effectively
