Manager, Sales Strategy & Operations

The Manager, Sales Strategy & Operations position is a unique opportunity to lead and influence key sales and marketing strategies, support field teams including sales representatives and clinical specialists, and contribute to advancing healthcare through strategic planning, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration.
 

How you will make an impact:

As the Manager of Sales Strategy & Operations, you will play a pivotal role in driving essential business activities to support the successful planning and implementation of key sales and marketing strategies within our field force, which includes both sales representatives and clinical specialists. Your responsibilities will encompass developing and executing sales compensation and quota plans, monitoring daily sales and clinical training performance, and creating systems and processes to support field operations. Additionally, you will conduct critical analyses to inform and enhance management decision-making.
 

Business Performance Management and Analytics

You will be responsible for creating key performance indicator (KPI) analytics for the EEMEA business, which includes developing dashboards, reports, and other analytical tools to deliver valuable insights into sales and clinical outcome performance. These insights will be utilized to improve business planning and support effective management decisions. You will also provide ad hoc analyses and reports to cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring the accuracy of data and fostering the continuous improvement of reporting frameworks.
 

Commercial Operational Planning

In this role, you will lead the planning cycles, such as the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and quarterly reviews, ensuring alignment across various countries. You will proactively identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and oversee the timely execution of cross-functional initiatives. Collaboration with leadership will be key as you monitor progress against strategic priorities and ensure consistent delivery of objectives.
 

Systems, Tools, and Process Optimization

You will take ownership of optimizing business systems and tools, including Salesforce, Power BI dashboards, and territory management solutions. This includes maintaining process governance, ensuring system integrity, and working closely with IT and Operations teams to drive continuous enhancements. By championing automation and standardization, you will help improve efficiency in collaboration with IT and the Central Digital/AI team.
 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Working alongside Finance (FP&A), Supply Chain, Marketing, and Country Leadership, you will ensure alignment on key priorities and performance drivers. Your role will involve facilitating effective communication and providing structured visibility to stakeholders across the EEMEA region.
 

Pricing Governance

You will develop and maintain the EEMEA pricing governance and rebate processes and tools to ensure the accuracy of inputs and payments, working collaboratively with team members. This includes coordinating the pricing committee, documenting decisions, and ensuring effective implementation with the contract team.
 

Sales and Clinical Compensation: Field Performance Target Setting and Tracking

Your responsibilities will include designing compensation plans and clinical case coverage models for the EEMEA sales and clinical teams within established parameters. You will ensure the accuracy of monthly variable compensation analyses and payments, as well as develop and deliver analyses on field performance to inform strategic decision-making.
 

People Leadership & Team Development

Manage and develop a team of two analysts; build capabilities in analytics, business acumen, and operational rigor. Set performance expectations, support career development, and foster a culture of continuous improvement


 

What you'll need (Required):

Bachelor’s degree required; extensive experience in Commercial Operations is essential. Experience in the medical device industry is strongly preferred; consumer goods or other relevant sectors are also highly valued.Fluent English (spoken and written); additional languages are an advantage.
