Manager, Sales Learning Business Partner

What Sales Training and Effectiveness contributes to Cardinal Health

Learning develops, deploys and evaluates learning solutions to support employee development and build organizational capability in alignment to business strategies. This function analyzes learning needs and develops training curricula, technologies, and programs. This function also manages trainings provided by third-parties and partners with leaders and subject matter experts within functions and business units to deliver learning.

Sales Training and Effectiveness is responsible for developing, designing and delivering sales training, as well as evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives. Goal is to improve knowledge and competencies around the execution of segment, business unit and sales team objectives, to improve sales and negotiation skills, sales leadership, sales process, and sales automation adoption and to increase sales effectiveness and high impact results.

Job Summary

The Sales Academy Learning Business Partner Manager is the key learning partner for our Cardinal Health Medical & At Home Sales Leadership teams. This position reports to the Director of Learning and Development for the Sales Academy and leads a team of learning business partners that assess, partner to design/develop, administer, and measure performance and learning.

Responsibilities

Leads and develops a team of learning business partnersMaintains a customer centric view; meets with business leaders regularly to understand critical imperatives and performance gapsCoaches learning business partners to create a business focused learning strategy with business impact measures of successUtilizes knowledge of adult learning methodologies and modalities (both formal and informal, as well as experiential) to lead to the development of curriculum and programmingSavvy project manager, who maintains a schedule of deliverables and ensures deadlines are metPartners with the instructional design team to develop learning solutionsFacilitates instructor-led training occasionallyUtilizes data and analytics, as well as observation to evaluate training effectiveness and its overall impact on business resultsRecommends skill and capability-based training proactively based on insights


Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred5+ years' experience in learning & development, preferredHealthcare industry experience, preferredPrior experience leading a team, preferredAbility to lead a team through multiple concurrent projects, while prioritizing deliverables.Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

Anticipated salary range: $103,500-147,900
