The Sales Development function is responsible for prospecting, educating and qualifying leads to create opportunities for the Account Executives to close. This function helps drive higher retention with a focus on building trust to generate long term customer relationships.Essential Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop an agile, highly productive and engaged SDR team, nurturing and developing talent through strong and actively engaged leadershipAct as a liaison with the marketing team, sales leaders, and other internal teams to support SDR inbound/outbound programs, help with messaging, etc.Actively engage in creating training and enablement sessionsTrain, coach, mentor team to ensure they are knowledgeable on solution portfolio, meeting KPIs, managing pipeline properly, communication/collaboration with their repsKeep up with industry trends, product knowledge, familiarity with sales tools team is using and identifying process improvementsAdditional duties as assignedEducation and ExperienceAssociate's Degree: RequiredBachelor's Degree: PreferredYears of Relevant Experience: 2 to 4 yearsEssential Skills and/or Certifications2+ years of experience in software sales as a closer preferredExperience coaching and mentoring SDRs on large-enterprise prospecting and opportunity generationProven track record of success, consistent track record of quota achievement as individual contributorExperience managing and improving Sales Development KPIs, regularly report on Team/Individual ResultsIdentify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of Process, Efficiency and ProductivitySales training and experience a plusOutreach, Sales Engagement and Customer Relation Familiarity, and LinkedIn Navigator experience a plusAbility to quickly adopt sales related technologiesAbility to adapt to an analytical, research focused mentality and environmentCoach, manage and motivate a team of Sales Development RepsShow an ownership mindset in everything you do; be a problem solver, be curious and be inspired to take action, be proactive, seek ways to collaborate and connect with people and teams in support of driving successContinuous growth mindset, keep learning through social experiences and relationships with stakeholder, experts, colleagues and mentors as well as widen and broaden your competencies through structural courses and programsKey StakeholdersExternal Clients, Inside, Field and Strategic Account Executives
