Strategic Thinking & High-Judgment Decision-Making: Ability to diagnose complex escalation patterns, identify systemic root causes, and make rapid, effective decisions under pressure with incomplete information—balancing customer experience, seller relationships, business risk, and regulatory compliance.
AI & Technology Fluency: Deep understanding of AI/ML capabilities including natural language processing, predictive analytics, and generative AI applications. Candidates must evaluate AI recommendations, understand confidence thresholds, and design human-in-the-loop workflows that balance automation with human judgment.
Executive Communication & Stakeholder Management: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical and operational issues in clear business language, translating escalation details into strategic insights for senior leadership while managing high-stakes conversations with frustrated customers and concerned sellers.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Influence: Proven ability to work effectively in highly collaborative environments, building relationships across Legal, Product, Operations, and Technology teams. Candidates must influence without direct authority and drive consensus on resolution approaches.
