This hybrid position will be located at our Corporate Office in New York City. Expectations for hybrid in-office schedule is three days a week, typically Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

 

Foot Locker, Inc. is hiring a Manager, Retail Visual Merchandising Production to join our team! This role is accountable to manage all print visual merchandising programs from start to finish for the NA Kids Foot Locker Banner. The manager will collaborate with several areas of marketing on execution of special campaigns, events and programs. They will also partner with the procurement department to obtain, evaluate, and negotiate print vendor bids and award jobs based on price, quality, time and service criteria. This position maintains quality control standards, while monitoring the progress of all projects to ensure work is being completed on time and within budget. You will oversee distribution lists to ensure stores receive the correct visual elements based on store floor plan. To be successful in this role, the Retail VM Production Manager will need to be detailed, organized and manage multiple, concurrent programs in a fast pace environment.

Responsibilities Manage the organization and execution of new and existing programsCreate production spec sheets, review and provide feedback on all prototypes, and negotiate costs with print vendors to ensure we are receiving best pricingContribute to the development and implementation of marketing initiatives aligning with company’s strategies and imageAdapt to new and evolving program/project modifications per Senior Executive directivesProvide alternative creative and production scenarios based on budget and communication restrictionsStreamline processes and explore new methodologies for efficiencies and cost savingsAssist with budgetary planning and controlApprove and fulfill visual tool requests for helpline and store openingsCultivate strong relationships with current and potential Brand and Print vendorsCoordinate Flag Ship store and activation installationsOrganization and maintenance of Print Production folders, templates, and material libraryOversee program distribution lists and standard documentsSystematically direct and accomplish several programs and projects simultaneously Qualifications Bachelor degree in business, marketing or related field preferred Minimum 2 years print production experience, preferably in retailAdvanced knowledge of graphics software (e.g. Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) and experience with data sharing (e.g. FTP sites, Dropbox, WeTransfer, etc.)Experience using AirTable helpfulProficiency in Microsoft Office with intermediate Excel skillsVisual merchandising skillsStrong technical knowledge of printing techniques, printing materials, spec writing, procurement, freight logistics, and postal regulationsKnowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of Marketing Finance and negotiation skillsEffective prioritization and management of multiple projects against aggressive timelines without compromising accuracy or qualityExcellent brand and print vendor management Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly present feedback on project plans, status, issues, risks, and requirements to all levels of management, brand vendors and print vendor partnersAbility to build partnerships with diverse teams from product, corporate marketing, and procurement

Benefits

The annual base salary range is $70000 - $80000 / year. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
