Manager, Retail Planning
**Description** The Free Standing Store (FSS) Planning Manager is an exciting opportunity for a highly collaborative, entrepreneurial individual. This person will support all store planning efforts, focusing on managing and executing optimal inventory levels for our luxe brand Free Standing Stores in North America. Responsibilities include timely replenishment of saleable and non-saleable products, forecasting review and exceptions management for basic/inline SKUs and new products, store communications, inventory analysis, and order processing. This role involves collaboration across functional teams, including brand sales planning, marketing, demand planning, finance, field, operations, and IT. The goal is to ensure optimal inventory levels while maintaining the business and suggesting improvement opportunities backed by analysis. The role reports to the NA replenishment team and involves tight collaboration with the brands. The FSS Planning Manager will identify and propose new ideas to drive the business or improve efficiency and ensure all process documentation is updated for easy knowledge transfer. Key Responsibilities: Forecasting & Reconciliation (50%) •Drive forecasting and reconciliation for Luxe brands. •Reconcile forecasts with LE; manage gaps as required. •Ensure FSS sales forecasts align with promotions. •Own the forecasting and reconciliation process across FSS and Demand Planning. •Align monthly forecasts with brand goals. •Review and improve monthly WFA (Basic + Launch). •Set up promotional events in JustEnough (JE) for the year. •Manage item/site supersedes and cannibalization. •Review forecast exceptions by category, franchise, hero, SKU, country. •Present IBP slides monthly in NA IBP meetings for the FSS channel. •Drive monthly forecast reconciliation and collaboration meetings. •Drive quarterly update meetings with the branded General Manager. •Present at corporate meetings on FSS inventory position and key initiatives. •Drive seasonal planning meetings with the brand team. Replenishment/Inventory Management (25%) •Review and analyze service levels weekly; recommend solutions. •Manage replenishment parameters for Luxe brands. •Review Estee Central for store callouts; initiate stock transfers as needed. •Perform ad hoc sales and inventory analysis. •Manage returns of discontinued and post-holiday items. •Drive excess analysis and execute reduction strategies. •Work with Operations and DC teams on shipment changes and projects. •Set up and place opening orders for new doors; plan inventory exit for closing doors. •Attend and present FSS KPIs during consensus meetings. •Drive the Merchandise Financial Plan (MFP/Category plans) for our channel. •Review OOS; track and report on lost sales. •Place opening orders for new doors. Continuous Process Improvements (15%) •Drive internal system and process improvements to support the business and improve team KPIs. •Drive cross-functional process improvements related to EC inventory and sales forecasting. •Conduct system testing for JustEnough and Qlikview enhancements/issues.
