Learn more at https://www.jnj.com The MedTech Regulatory Affairs and R&D Data Office (RADO), is responsible for establishing the data governance process and applying consistent data governance and standards across Regulatory Affairs and R&D, as part of a unified MedTech data strategy under the MedTech Data Office (MTDO). The aim is to ensure consistent data governance and standards across functions and enable trusted, well governed data to sustain our competitive edge. **Purpose of the role** You will be responsible will be responsible for the implementation and execution of key data governance initiatives within the R&D Data Office. Core to the role will be the establishment of an R&D Data Dictionary, building an R&D Data Quality Management Framework and managing a coherent Change Management Program with R&D stakeholders across multiple business units. The role requires strong cross-functional leadership, practical metadata-management experience, and the ability to translate regulatory and business requirements into measurable delivery plans. **What to expect:** **_R&D Data Dictionary_** Coordinate the development and implementation of the R&D Data Dictionary Align stakeholders to identify data ownership and approve attribute definitions Form and manage a data steward community for regular coordination and escalation. Maintain and enhance business metadata and data catalog entries to improve data discoverability and understanding. **_Data Quality Framework_** Build an R&D Data Quality framework that will allow the monitoring of R&D data quality, providing insights to drive remediation and data accuracy improvements Create R&D Data Quality Dashboards to track and manage data quality performance Work with stakeholders to implement efficient data cleansing solutions **_Change Management & Continuous Improvement_** Oversee an awareness, training and change management initiative that informs, involves and engages the R&D Data Office community Facilitate feedback sessions with Data Stewards to strengthen collaboration, refine processes, and improve data governance practices. Promote a culture of high data quality, transparency, and operational excellence within the R&D environment. **_Leadership & Talent Development_** Demonstrate and model J&J Leadership Imperatives (Live Our Credo, Connect, Shape, Grow) through daily actions, cross functional influence, and capability building. Lead by example to foster a collaborative, inclusive, and learning oriented regulatory community **.** **Who are we looking for?** Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Preferred Area of Study: Engineering, Life Sciences, Research & Development, Information Management, or related fields Preferred Related Industry Experience: Research & Development, Supply Chain, Quality Minimum of 6 years of experience in Research & Development, quality, regulatory, or related fields In depth understanding of data governance, data quality and meta data management principles Strong experience with application of Research & Development digital and data systems. Demonstrated strong leadership, organizational, and planning skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with global teams and a diverse work force and customer base. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, to build and maintain relationships, and to quickly build credibility at all levels in the organization. Highly skilled in establishing partnerships within function, successfully influence senior leaders and able to work collaboratively in a highly matrixed environment.
