Manager, Reporting & Release Management
Our Company PharMerica Overview We are seeking a highly motivatedManager of Reporting & Release Management – Pharmacy Systemsto lead reporting, data analytics, and application release processes across our pharmacy technology landscape. This role oversees the development and delivery of reporting solutions (SSRS/SQL), provides actionable business insights through analytics, and manages the end-to-end release lifecycle for critical pharmacy applications. The ideal candidate will bring both technical depth and leadership skills, ensuring that reporting is accurate, analytics drive decision-making, and application releases are delivered on time, with quality and minimal business disruption. We are looking for: + 5–7 years of experience in reporting, data analytics, and/or release management in healthcare or pharmacy technology + Hands-on expertise in SSRS, SQL, and relational databases + Proven experience in managing the full release cycle in enterprise or healthcare environments + Experience with LTC pharmacy applications such as FrameworkLTC, DocuTrack, or PointClickCare + Experience in leading teams Remote opportunity- can reside anywhere within the Continental USA Schedule:Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm We offer:Competitive payHealth, dental, vision and life insurance benefitsCompany paid STD and LTDEmployee Discount Program401kPaid-time offTuition reimbursementNon-retail/Closed-door environment Responsibilities + Manage and mentor a team that includes a report writer (SSRS/SQL) and related analytics/release resources. + Set clear goals and priorities, coach team members, and foster professional growth. + Serve as the escalation point for reporting or release-related issues. + Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of SSRS reports, SQL queries, and analytics dashboards. + Collaborate with business stakeholders to define reporting requirements, ensuring deliverables provide accurate and meaningful insights. + Champion data governance, ensuring high standards of data quality, integrity, and consistency. + Translate raw data into actionable insights that drive operational and strategic decision-making. + Plan, coordinate, and execute application releases across pharmacy systems. + Partner with QA, product, and IT teams to validate release readiness, conduct testing, and schedule deployments. + Ensure disciplined change management, version control, and deployment processes. + Conduct post-release reviews and implement continuous improvements in release methodology. + Act as the bridge between reporting/analytics, release management, and business units. + Clearly communicate priorities, progress, and risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. + Partner with pharmacy operations, IT, and vendor teams to ensure alignment of releases and reporting needs with business goals. + Supervisory Responsibility: Yes Qualifications + 5–7 years of experience in reporting, data analytics, and/or release management, ideally in healthcare or pharmacy technology. + Strong hands-on expertise in SSRS, SQL, and relational databases. + Proven track record of managing the full release cycle in enterprise or healthcare environments. + Prior experience managing individuals or small teams. + Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience). + Preferred + Experience with LTC pharmacy applications such as FrameworkLTC, DocuTrack, or PointClickCare. + Familiarity with HL7/SCRIPT standards and healthcare compliance requirements. + Knowledge of BI platforms such as Power BI or Tableau. + Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments. + Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. + Percentage of Travel: 0-25% **To perform this position will require frequently sitting, standing, walking and typing on a keyboard with fingers, and occasionally bending, reaching, and climbing (stairs/ladders).
