Manager, Registered Products
**Our client, a large wealth management and financial services firm, is currently looking to hire a Manager, Registered Products to join their team in Markham, ON! This role is best suited for someone with 5-8 years of experience working with registered accounts and products in Canada and have had previous management/leadership experience and can work in office 3 days a week in Markham, ON!** The Manager, Registered Products is responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day operations of account opening, advisor onboarding, and the administration of registered products. Working in a fast‑paced and regulated environment, this role ensures operational accuracy, regulatory compliance, and high-quality service delivery within the Registered Products team. The manager will act as a subject matter expert on CRA, MFDA, CSA, pension rules, and registered plan administration, while contributing to continuous process improvement and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities - Oversee daily processing of account openings, account maintenance, transfers, and registered plan activities in accordance with regulatory requirements. - Manage, coach, and develop the Registered Products team to maintain high performance, accuracy, and service levels. - Serve as a subject matter expert on registered accounts including RRSP, RRIF, TFSA, RESP, and locked‑in plans; resolve complex inquiries and escalations. - Interpret and operationalize regulatory changes from CRA, MFDA, CSA, and pension legislation, ensuring policies and procedures remain compliant and up to date. - Lead operational readiness for system enhancements, regulatory updates, and business transitions, including communication and training. - Ensure strong operational controls, reconciliation accuracy, and timely completion of financial reporting related to registered products. Qualifications - 5–8 years of experience in new accounts, client service, or back-office operations within wealth management or financial services. - Thorough knowledge of registered plans, the Income Tax Act, CRA guidelines, and locked‑in/pension rules. - Strong leadership, communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. - Experience with Dataphile, OSS, Open Advantage, and Microsoft Office considered an asset. Duration: 9 month contract to start with opportunity of extension OR conversion to permanent Location: 3 days a week on site in Markham, ON Pay: $41 - $46/hr Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Markham, ON.
