Negotiate favourable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts with suppliers. Identification/evaluation of new vendors in line with agreed business requirements, as well as tracking and monitoring of service level agreements and performance standards for existing vendors. Lead strategic category management of their category, in partnership with the business and stakeholders. Ensure that all value deliver from the category strategy is in line with GSK and Procurement goals. As an R&D Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for managing the spend of assigned categories in Japan and the workflow of third party resources supporting the business. This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following… Responsibilities ・ Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the in-scope categories, their relevant industries/markets, and GSK’s forward-looking capability requirements and use this knowledge to engage with senior stakeholders to help shape, assess, and source GSK’s R&D requirements. ・ Manage Workflow of third party suppliers/resources ・ Manage non-standard workflow queries by interacting across a Matrix Organization ・ Prepare and Present Analytic & metrics reports routinely to leadership ・ Compare current and historical trends in workflow, proactively drive improvement ・ Allocation of appropriate contracting resources ・ Delivering resourcing solutions by optimizing resources more effectively ・ Ensure Master and service-level agreements are strategically aligned with R&D Business goals by engaging all relevant stakeholders in the sourcing strategy and contract management activities and delivering a strategy for most efficient contracting and buying-channel. ・ Build strategic relationships and ensure the appropriate communication is in place with relevant GSK stakeholders; understand business requirements, identify opportunities to create value, position Procurement’s value proposition, and align sourcing strategies to assurance of supply (risk management), compliance, quality, service, cost and innovation. Qualifications/Skills Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of procurement or sourcing experience, preferably in a regulated industry Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Life Sciences, or a related field Strong communication skills in both Japanese (native level) and English (business level) Experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration Proficiency in MS Office tools and basic procurement system (e.g. Ariba) Preferred: Experience in R&D procurement or sourcing within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry Knowledge of clinical development processes and functional service provider (FSP) models Experience with contract negotiation and vendor management for R&D services Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills Familiarity with global procurement processes and matrix organizations 選考について:面接ステップ:3-4回(人事面談 - 部門面接) 就業場所:グラクソ・スミスクライン株式会社 107-0052 東京都港区赤坂1-8-1赤坂インターシティAIR 最寄り駅:東京メトロ 溜池山王 就業時間:9:00~17:45(休憩1時間) 1日の標準労働時間:7時間45分 リモートワーク:可。週3日以上は出社が必要 社宅:適用なし 休日:完全週休2日制(土、日)、祝日、年末年始、5月1日、四季休暇(5日),出産休暇、通院休暇、子の看護休暇、学校行事休暇、介護休暇、公傷休暇ほか Why GSK?
