Schwab Advisor Services, the industry leader of custodial, operational, trading, product, and technology solutions for independent fee-based investment advisors (RIAs), is seeking an innovative, results-driven individual to serve as Senior Manager, Project Management within the Enterprise Solutions (ES) organization’s Projects & Program Office.
The Advisor Services Enterprise Solutions organization serves clients that consist of National RIAs, mega-volume RIAs, Strategic Acquirers, TAMPs and national IBDs. The ES Project & Program Office (ES PPO) oversees the ES project portfolio which drives the execution of projects and initiatives to address the needs of our Enterprise RIA clients, and supports our organizational strategic objectives.
The Manager, Project Management will work cross-functionally with all levels with the ES organization, AS enterprise and other Schwab partners to drive projects and priorities forward. The Manager will bring structure and organization to ambiguous or complex efforts through clear project planning and execution. The Manager may focus most on internally-facing projects, including maintaining hygiene of the project portfolio data, and support internal reporting and communications out of the ES PPO. The Manager may act as a voice, representative and connector between the ES organization and internal partners to support communications and partner understanding of the ES priorities and client needs.

Required Qualifications:
3-4 years of experience in a project management, business management or client-focused preferredBachelor’s degree requiredDemonstrated reporting and data experience, including building, managing, and interpreting reports to support decision-making and operational effectiveness
Preferred Qualifications:
Licensed is a plus (FINRA Series 7, 63 or SIE)Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite of products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Preferred background in financial products and servicesDemonstrated ability to influence and build consensus across diverse stakeholders with confidence and diplomacy to effectively facilitate dialogue and decision makingProven track record of independently driving priorities and managing multiple projects with quality and timelinessExperience with basic data analysis to collect and analyze information, problem-solve, and make decisions through data.Ability to foster connections across different parts of the organization to drive a well-rounded implementation strategyA ‘can-do’, results and detail orientation approach to executing on projects with a focus on organization, efficient productivity and development of creative solutionsStrong communication and storytelling skills, including executive-level presentations in PowerPointMotivated by change and a demonstrated success with effective change management is a plusAbility to navigate ambiguity and apply critical thinking to complex challengesUnderstanding of Advisor Services business model and field organizations, with direct experience preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skills that showcases experience in framing and telling a logical story for a variety of stakeholders
