Now Brewing – group product manager, Supply Chain Planning! #tobeapartner
From the beginning, Starbucks set out to be a different kind of company. One that not only celebrated coffee and its rich traditions, but also brought a sense of connection. We are known for developing extraordinary leaders who share this passion and are guided by their service to others.
Help shape the future of supply chain planning at Starbucks. We’re looking for a strategic product leader to guide our supply chain planning team. In this role, you’ll lead a team of product managers focused on enabling end-to-end planning—from bean to cup and everything in between—an essential part of our digital ecosystem that deepens customer connections and drives business growth. You’ll thrive in this role if you think in systems, love solving operational puzzles, and believe that great product work in supply chain is both deeply technical and profoundly human.
As a Group Product Manager, Supply Chain Planning, you will…
• Define and drive the product vision for digital supply chain planning—connecting sourcing, manufacturing, distribution, and retail through intelligent, data-driven systems.
• Lead and mentor a team of product managers focused on building tools for internal users like inventory planners, production schedulers, and store operators—people whose work keeps our supply chain running smoothly.
• Partner with engineering, design, data science, and operations to build scalable, resilient platforms that support global growth and operational excellence.
• Translate operational complexity into intuitive digital experiences that enable task execution with speed, accuracy, and minimal friction.
• Prioritize initiatives that balance long-term strategic value with short-term business impact, using data and stakeholder input to guide decisions.
• Align product roadmaps across enterprise platforms to ensure a cohesive and integrated planning ecosystem.
• Communicate product strategy, progress, and outcomes to cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Foster a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
You’ll thrive in this role if you…
• Think in flows, not just features—and understand how local decisions impact global outcomes.
• Obsess over data quality, process reliability, and system-level optimization.
• Know how to bridge the physical and digital—designing for workflows that play out in warehouses, stores, and delivery networks.
• Believe that great UI in ops should get out of the way—helping users complete tasks quickly and confidently.
• Appreciate the rigor of operations math—where cost, rate, and defects are measurable and solvable.
• Are equally comfortable with build and buy strategies—able to evaluate platforms and solutions in the market, and know when to build custom tools, when to integrate, and when to go hybrid.
• Understand platform architecture and enterprise ecosystems, and can balance speed, scalability, and sustainability in decision-making.
We’d love to hear from people with:
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years managing product managers.
• Experience building and scaling enterprise or operations-focused digital products.
• Deep understanding of supply chain planning processes and technologies (e.g., ERP, APS, forecasting tools).
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a bias toward action.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
• A passion for simplifying complexity and building systems that empower teams.
