Job Scope:
Drive, plan and coordinate unit performance monitoring, feasibility studies, test runs, process simulations through maintaining a healthy monitoring system and database, timely resolution of operational issues for effective plant monitoring and increase plant efficiency, reliability and availability. Lead the development and manage process management and improvement systems through establishment of Process Safety systems, Energy and Loss Management, design and develop process control improvement and Operator Training Simulator (OTS) in order to achieve operational effectiveness and ensure smooth business operations post-commissioning. Lead and support feasibility studies and conceptual designs activities by reviewing and evaluating equipment design and equipment engineering design standards, technology selection, process vendor / licensor selection and packages in supporting Company corporate agenda for business growth align with LNG aspiration. Establish and implement cost control mechanism and measures in all aspects of process selection by assessing and reviewing resource allocation, troubleshooting and identifying process improvement areas to maximize value saving / creation. Evaluate and determine process plant modification and design change, by making recommendations based on the technical and economic viability so as to achieve technical excellence and optimum return of investment and maximum shareholders’ return. Plan and manage up-to-date design and engineering practices, current codes and standard, by ensuring HAZOP Study are applied for process design and plant changes in the process area in order to maintain the asset operability and integrity after commissioning of the plant changes. Support a robust Process Safety Management system and Plant / Facility risk by identifying and recommending appropriate risk assessment processes, tools, methodologies and mitigations to sustain plant integrity and operational excellence whilst maintaining the HSE standards and procedures. Recommend technical input for the reviews and implementation of Operating Assets (OA) between PFLNG1 and PFLNG2, Gas Sales Agreement (GSA), LNG Sales and Purchase Agreements (SPA) and Management Services Agreements (MSA) to ensure the PFLNG operates optimally meeting the contractual commitments and Company’s requirements.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering. Professional qualification or advanced degree would be an advantage.
Experience and Attributes:
Deep knowledge and understanding in the Oil and Gas and Energy industry. At least 10 years of plant experience with LNG background exposure would be an advantage.
