We are seeking a strategic and creative Portfolio Instructional Designer to lead the development of compelling content that translates complex diagnostic information into clear, actionable narratives. This role is pivotal in supporting marketing campaigns, enabling our sales force, and educating customers, ultimately driving business impact and fostering behavior change through innovative content formats like e-learnings, videos, and presentations.
This position is part of the Beckman Coulter North America Marketing team reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager and will be remote. If you thrive in a fast paced, data rich environment and want to work to build a world-class marketing organization—read on.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Design and develop materials aligned with marketing campaigns, brand messaging, and sales strategies
+ Create training materials for internal audiences (e.g., sales teams, partners) and external audiences (e.g., distribution partners, customers, prospects)
+ Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to identify learning needs and translate them into engaging content; material will include e-learning modules, webinars, video scripts, infographics, tutorials, and interactive content
+ Utilize instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, etc.) and adult learning principles
+ Develop and adapt content for optimal performance across various platforms, including LMS, social media, websites, and email campaigns, considering best practices for each channel
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Education or a related field with 5-years of experience or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Education or a related field with 3-years of experience in Healthcare/Life Sciences
+ Strong writing and visual storytelling skills
+ Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Rise, Adobe Creative Suite)
+ Familiarity with branding and marketing principles
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
+ Experience in B2B or SaaS environments
+ 3–5 years of experience in instructional design or content creation ideally with a marketing or sales enablement focus in the Healthcare/Life Sciences industry
+ Background in adult learning theory or corporate training and video editing or motion graphics experience

The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $145,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
