This hybrid position will be located at our Corporate Office in Camp Hill, PA. Expectations for hybrid in-office schedule is three days a week, typically Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

 

Foot Locker, Inc. is hiring a Payroll Manager to join our Accounting team! This position is responsible for managing payroll operations for North America. This role oversees all US and Canada payroll functions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. The Payroll Manager will play a key role in ensuring payroll integrity, reviewing and strengthening controls, and striving for continuous improvement across all payroll processes. This position has two direct reports and oversees a team of nine individuals.

Responsibilities Oversee and manage payroll processing for hourly and salaried employees, including both on and off cyclesCoordinate with the HR and IS&T teams to ensure compliance with state and federal payroll lawsEnsure compliance with SOX, internal controls, and auditor requestsPartner with internal stakeholders, providing guidance and expertise as well as ensuring best practices are applied consistentlyDevelop and maintain payroll documentation and process improvementsLead payroll projects, including system enhancements and upgradesReview, test, and approve changes/updates to payroll systemsAssist direct reports, provide them with support, and become proficient in their work to serve as a backup on their responsibilitiesPartner with external payroll providersMust be able to analyze data and make observationsLead and direct associatesMay be required to perform additional duties as assigned by supervisionAbility to communicate effectively with senior management, divisions, and staff Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of related experienceAssociates or Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant field and/or equivalent/education work experineceExperience with Canadian payroll is a plusExperience working on cross functional teams, multitasking, and managing time independently with little directionExperience managing associatesProficient with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Excel, Word) Strong work ethic with a commitment to achieve targeted objectivesExperience with and/or knowledge of PeopleSoft and running PeopleSoft queriesExcellent communication skills  Must be able to effectively communicate with associates at all levels, including senior executivesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent organizational and interpersonal skillsAbility to prioritize, delegate, and meet deadlines

Benefits

The annual base salary range is $90000 - $110000 / year. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short-term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
