Job Description

The Manager in Growth Product and Partnerships (GPP) team, is responsible for building operational processes, tools, policies, and data required to bring our go-to-market strategy with highly complex strategic parties to life. The role requires a data-driven professional, preferably with client-facing experience, who has 5-6 years of experience transforming, improving, and supporting business processes to drive critical initiatives and other functional business priorities for the sales planning and execution cycle. The GPP team works closely with Product, Legal, Finance, Marketing, etc. teams to execute partnership agreements and deliverables that are typically highly complex, strategic, and cross-functional in nature. The manager will support a senior account executive across multiple areas critical to realize growth and progress with strategic partner accounts.

Operational Improvements:

Identify inefficiencies in processes and workflows, and implement solutions to enhance productivity and effectiveness 

Work cross-functionally with a number of Visa teams including Product, Partnerships, Legal to drive process enhancements 

Define and implement SLAs, metrics, and performance standards to measure and improve portfolio health

Host recurring meetings and business reviews to drive continuous growth and improvement between Visa and our partners

Work closely with the Project Management Office to develop end-to-end project plans for new implementations, working closely with stakeholders and partners to ensure on-time delivery

Work with back-office teams including Data Science to identify errors and optimize reporting 

Bring qualitative and quantitative feedback to team to drive decision-making 

Performance Tracking & Reporting:

Collaborate closely with data engineering to ensure data quality and accessibility

Ensure onboarding and integration of data sources from various sources to identify trends, performance gaps, and areas for improvement 

Develop and support execution of customized account strategy, objectives and plans for select strategic partner accounts

Support the account and relationship management and sales plan for these accounts, ensuring that the client's business objectives are met

Align the cross-functional teams on key proposals including representation from Legal, Marketing, Product, Operations, Risk and Technology

Team Support:

Provide support to the leadership team in various capacities, including meeting preparation and post-meeting action items 

Support the development, negotiation and signing of proposals by working with various internal stakeholders and relationships with strategic partner executives

Thought Leadership:

Support exec reporting and interactions with senior management and executives to indicate the status of the partnership progress.

Proactively educate the Visa organization on market developments and partner opportunities.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhDA minimum of 5 years business experience with related sales and management experience in the mobile, software, hardware or technology services industryExperienced in continuous improvement of teams, processes, products, and related servicing capabilitiesMaintain global perspective - seeing beyond current issues in order to understand downstream impacts of decisions and directionsHave a passion for drilling into the details of how things work, leading to outstanding user/partner experiencesAble to operate autonomously and push through ambiguity to drill down to actions and solutionsTeamwork, interpersonal & relationship-building skills, and ability to lead by influence and exampleProven ability to partner, communicate and manage/navigate through multiple disciplines and organizational groupsExperience managing up, building Executive Level communications and delivering presentationsAbility to work within a complex and often ambiguous environment, and to influence senior management and other relevant partiesExecutive presenceStrong written and oral communication, including large-group presentationsTeam oriented, collaborative and flexibleAbility to influence and work within matrixed environment

Additional Information

Work Authorization: Permanent Authorization to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment for this position. Visa will not sponsor applicants for work visas in connection with this position.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 132,300.00 to 191,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
