Manager, Operations - UX and Communications Copywriter
Position Summary...Words shape experience. This role is pivotal in guiding drivers and support agents through the Spark platform’s most important workflows — ensuring instructions are clear, context is correct, and every communication removes friction. From on-screen messages that clarify next steps to self-service guides that reduce contacts, your writing helps our users feel capable and supported across all driver communication types.

What you'll do...

What You’ll Do:

Craft UX copy that appears across in-app moments — including tooltips, modals, push notifications, and transactional communications — tailored to Spark’s driver personas.Write and maintain troubleshooting guides, how-to articles, and agent scripting that live across our driver-facing help site and internal support documentation.Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, product managers, and comms leads to ensure content aligns with the voice of the platform and drives desired user behavior.Simplify complex workflows into intuitive instructions that help users complete tasks with confidence — whether accepting an order or resolving an account issue.Test and optimize copy using data from driver engagement, contact rates, and agent feedback to continuously improve clarity and performance.Ensure consistency across all messaging touchpoints by applying Spark’s content standards, tone of voice, and accessibility best practices.

What You’ll Bring:

4+ years of experience in UX writing, technical writing, content strategy, or related fields.Exceptional ability to distill complex or technical concepts into clear, user-centered language.Portfolio demonstrating UX writing across apps, websites, or support environments.Experience writing for mobile-first products and knowledge of best practices for localization and accessibility.Strong collaboration skills — able to work fluidly with designers, engineers, compliance, and operations teams.Familiarity with knowledge base tools (e.g. Zendesk, ServiceNow, Confluence) and content management systems.

Nice-to-Have’s:

Experience supporting gig, logistics, or high-scale operational platforms.Background in behavioral science, usability testing, or conversation design.Comfort writing for both proactive and reactive communication flows.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$130,000.00
