The New Verticals team is all about expanding DoorDash beyond Restaurants, and helping deliver anything our Customers want. Our Fulfillment team ensures that we can fulfill every order with speed & accuracy and improve customer experiences. We are able to do this by identifying efficiencies, building product toolings and launching operational processes at scale. You will own metrics, pull operational & product levers and drive impactful results across our Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol and Retail businesses.
About the RoleWe're looking for a Manager to join our New Verticals Strategy & Operations team to build and shape the future of DoorDash with our New Verticals Fulfillment team focused on Categories Quality.
The Categories Quality pod is focused on step-changing Customer outcomes through building high quality New Verticals offerings at DoorDash, ensuring that category specific challenges are solved, through technology and operational processes. You’ll do this by shaping the strategy and driving the rollout of key product launches, including perishables quality, consumer electronics shopping experience, and substitutions recommendations. You’ll do everything ranging from identifying operational experiments to partnering with tech teams to write product briefs, to testing initiatives in-store. You will work cross functionally across other functions within Strategy & Operations, product, engineering and other stakeholders!
We operate in a hybrid model; we do try to get the team together once a quarter in person and all of our offices are open should you choose to go in. You will report to a Senior Manager on the team and manage a team of 2.
