Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Marketing is a dynamic, results-driven marketing team responsible for positioning films released by Disney/20th Century (live action), Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, Lucasfilm, Marvel Studios, and now studio branded titles on Disney+. This organization oversees the Studios’ global marketing strategy encompassing creative, media, digital, international, promotions, publicity, research, special events, and synergy, and handles some the most valuable film brands and franchises of all time.
The Manager, Media Operations is an exciting opportunity on the Studios Media & Marketing team that will support the Director, Media & Operations on several cross-functional projects. The Manager will be responsible for spearheading initiatives such as media team highlights, org structure updates, and other cross-team functions. The Manager must have strong design skills to help build key decks that will be presented to leaders throughout the organization.
**Responsibilities**
+ Managetimelines, scope, and next steps for long lead initiatives across the media organization
+ Produce and curate high-quality presentations and supporting materials, including needs for weekly meetings, executive forums, and large-scale presentations
+ Serve as cross-functional lead to other operationsteams to spearhead projects
+ Aggregate information from various teams and f build into high-level executive summaries
+ Lead and project manage key organizational updates and tech/tool rollouts from start to finish
+ Value internal Synergy campaigns and create quarterly recap deck to outline partner and campaign highlights for leadership
+ Organize team events (Summits, quarterly functions, etc.) in partnership with admin and events lead
+ Own communication with media agency, Strategy, Research, and other Marketing departments on ad-hoc requests
+ Understand AI landscape and manage internal implementations tracker for media team
+ Collaborate with other team Manager and Specialist to maintain status documents andresources
**Basic Qualifications**
+ 5+ years in a media or advertising position, preferably with exposure to direct-to-consumer or entertainment businesses
+ Agency experience preferred
+ Demonstrates strong graphic design skillset in Microsoft PowerPoint and Keynote
+ Exceptional multi-tasking skills with the ability to work on several projects simultaneously
+ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal to ensure successful interactions with executives and business unit contacts
+ Proactive and resourceful team player with a positive outlook and the ability to problem solve
+ College Degree preferred
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $89,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
