The Manager, Materials, Warehouse, & Logistics will lead the warehouse, logistics, and production scheduling functions for the site. They will ensure the team is able to safely and efficiently execute strategies to provide safe, high-quality products to the customers.

What you will do: 

Compliance to all company and regulatory standards and metrics in health & safety, environment, quality, and warehouse and logistics operationsProvide a safe workplace for all by fostering safe work programs, developing and executing new ways of working, and most importantly, being a Safety LeaderDevelop an environment where the well-being of people is put first and reflected in an excellent EHS recordLead team to best-in-class levels of proficiency in SAP inventory management processes.Identify opportunities to improve the operation of the warehouse, logistics, and scheduling functionsEnsure production scheduling is optimized with respect to customer supply and plant efficiency.Inventory management: Managing inventory levels at the local level, ensuring adequate stock levels, and minimizing inventory holding costs.Identify and act on cost reduction opportunities.Develop and execute continuous improvement strategies.Operate to optimize Perfect order performance with focus on improving On-Time, In-Full customer order fulfillment and reducing customer complaints through efficient warehouse and logistics operationsSupport the plant in providing high-quality products to customers through good material handling practices and following Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)Operate warehouses in line with regulations and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)Develop and encourage relationships between the department and support functions to drive business performance.Select, educate, and manage external suppliers/contractors/service partners to operate at Ingredion standards and level of expectation.Foster an amiable working environment through accountability and recognition.Organize labor resources to achieve optimal efficiency.Identify and leverage opportunities to streamline the workforce to drive synergies, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.Coordinate with Human Resources to manage the hourly workforce in compliance with the collective bargaining agreement and in line with Plant Rules.Mentor and coach direct reports, both salary and hourly, to achieve their fullest potentialLead performance management activities across all operational units to ensure consistency of evaluation.Remain always connected to the shop floor and willing to make difficult situations visible to the organization to ensure they are properly addressed, and to ensure actions are put in place to avoid recurrence.Meet productivity targets while reducing waste in all its formsDrive down manufacturing expenses through the implementation of innovative cost-saving ideasLead the implementation of the Ingredion Performance System (IPS) and use it to drive business resultsUse Root Cause Analysis (RCA) tools and relevant corrective actions to eliminate failuresUtilize Six-Sigma tools to eliminate varianceDrive continuous improvement in utilities, including energy consumption and waste disposalIdentify best practices in the industry to bring innovative improvements to the department

What you will bring: 

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, business, or a related technical field7-10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, logistics, or supply/production planningExperience in warehouse leadership is highly regardedExperience leading a Union workforce is highly regardedFood industry experience is highly regardedSix-Sigma green belt training and experience are highly regardedStrong leadership traits, with demonstrated successExcellent computer skills

Pay Range:

$119,520.00-$159,360.00 Annual

This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).

Incentive Compensation:

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
