How will you make an impact in this role?
Join our marketing team as a Manager specializing in Data Analysis and Data Engineering. In this role, you will build the foundation for data-driven marketing strategies, enabling insights that shape customer engagement and business growth.
A successful candidate will cover broad areas of data analysis and data engineering, leveraging market big data and customer data platforms. Your work will span consumer card profiles, new acquisitions, customer engagement, retention, spend, lending, servicing, and merchant data.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Insights:
Analyze marketing performance metrics across campaigns, channels, and customer segments.
Develop dashboards and reports to track KPIs and customer engagement trends.
Provide actionable insights to optimize marketing strategies and improve conversion rates.
Maintain and enhance the reporting portal for the Business Planning and Management team.
Data Engineering:
Design and implement scalable, efficient database architecture for marketing data.
Integrate data from multiple sources into a unified database.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility for the Business Planning and Management team.
Automate data pipelines and reporting processes to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.
Collaboration & Enablement:
Work closely with marketing teams to align data and reporting requirements.
Train team members on data tools and best practices for analysis and reporting.
Potentially work with India CMS team for campaign delivery.
Qualifications
5–7 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering.
Hands-on experience with analytics, statistics, and visualization tools.
Advanced skills in Python, SQL, and R. with hands-on experience in BigQuery, Spark, or similar big data platforms
Experience with BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to deliver executive summaries.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in team management and leadership.
Language: Japanese (business level) and English (business level).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in forecasting and predictive modeling.
Familiarity with machine learning techniques (clustering, regression, neural networks) is a plus.
