Leads the execution of Scotia Wealth Management’s marketing strategy in Canada, delivering integrated, brand‑aligned marketing initiatives that drive business objectives while ensuring compliance with regulatory, risk, and governance requirements.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will: 

 

Leads and fosters a customer focused culture across the team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge Acts as a brand champion for Scotia Wealth Management, ensuring all marketing activity reinforces a clear, differentiated brand positioning and is aligned to SWM brand standards and guidelines. Partners with creative agencies to lead creative development and ensure the timely execution of national advertising campaigns, in branch activations, and other strategic marketing initiatives. Oversees the development of brand aligned creative and collateral to support business line needs, including event materials, social media content, in branch materials, and brochures. Partners closely with media agencies and enterprise growth marketing teams to develop, deploy, and optimize media strategies across key channels. Leverages performance analytics and KPI tracking to monitor results, drive optimization, and improve campaign effectiveness. Collaborates with cross functional stakeholders to deliver campaign reporting and actionable performance insights. Leverages product and process expertise, along with results based marketing levers, to deliver against business objectives and marketing goals. Champions a high-performance environment and demonstrates a commitment to Scotiabank’s values: accountability, passion, integrity and respect. Creates an environment in which his/her team pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct, and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?  We’d love to work with you if you have experience with:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in marketing, brand marketing, and/or account management, preferably within financial services. Experience working in a matrix organization. Campaign management experience, including execution and support of creative and content development across multiple channels. Expert in writing strategic briefs and partnering closely with creative teams and agencies to ensure work delivers against the brief. Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
