How you will make an impact?

You will be responsible for the Grand Island Manufacturing Planning team encompassing functions that include supply planning, inventory management, master scheduling, and analytics. You will have strong links with our global and local sales and operations teams to optimize schedules and system processes to drive improvement in supply chain delivery metrics. This will ultimately drive our performance and end to end customer experience.

What you will do:

You will lead implementation of the site fulfillment and inventory strategy by focusing on critical importance and holding the team accountable. As well as, implementing key performance indicators that provide supply chain performance monitoring and efficiently communicate performance of the established service critical metrics via S&OE and SIOP. Additionally, you will develope and maintain good working relationships with our commercial partners to deliver customer orders profitably by exceeding customer expectations. Success is achieved by living a culture of continuous improvement through our Practical Process Improvement Business System!

A day in the Life:

Lead Grand Island's supply planning and scheduling team with Tiered Management, OpCenter, E1 MRP, and other planning toolsCoordinate with BCD COS and BID PMO teams for changes in shipping dates and reasons for missed customer ordersResolve intensified expedite requests with sales and manufacturing partnersFacilitate departmental support and PPI to meet site supply chain metrics including OTTP, OTIF, Back Order, Gross Inventory, and E&OLead discussions to optimize output for the site and improve Work Order Variance; scale up PPI opportunities and maintaining ACQ

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain or a related fieldTraining in Lean/Six Sigma processes preferredAPICS certification preferred

Experience

7+ years of experience in Production, Planning, and OperationsExperience in leading and forming teams of individual contributors, with a track record of attracting and developing talentERP system experience in a manufacturing environment

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Broad understanding of capacity planning, production levelling, MPS and MRP processes; in addition to identifying and handling production constraintsStrong Excel, analytical and problem-solving skillsCan clearly communicate to all levels within the organizationDesire to lead and expand within this role and potentially beyond

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $93,800.00–$140,675.00.
