Key Responsibilities:
At Gilead IT's enterprise platforms team, we are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Middleware Engineer. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless communication and data exchange across diverse enterprise applications and platforms. As a Middleware Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust middleware solutions that serve as the backbone of our IT infrastructure.
You will play a key role in enabling integration between legacy systems, ERP systems (SAP, EBS), cloud services, and modern applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of middleware technologies, integration patterns, and enterprise architecture principles. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support business-critical applications, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive continuous improvement in system interoperability.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and at least 6 Years’ of relevant ExperienceOR

Hands-on working experience on Middleware tools such as Boomi, APIGEEOn-prem/cloud hybrid experience using Middleware toolsHands-on experience in managing GxP & SOX solutionsWorking experience with EDI/OTC/FSS/3PL's and trading partnersWorking experience with pharama manufacturing processesHands-on DevOps & Agile delivery experienceTrack record working in a fast paced, FDA regulated IT environmentExperience managing consultants and providing technical recommendationsAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects & prioritiesExcellent written and verbal communication skills
The salary range for this position is:
Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
