Principal responsibilities

Enforcing investment sales guidelines and sales compliance in Commercial BankingOversight and monitoring of investment sales process via establishment and execution of various controls including but not limited to sales quality check, internal training and independent customer callback surveyProvide support to or manage projects, initiatives or programmes related to the department. May include leading / assisting with defining the project approach, building stakeholder buy-in around plans, commitments and changes Responsible in enforcing sales guidelines and sales compliance, monitoring of sales process, and conduct quality control checking and subsequent sales quality reportsTo review and formulate internal policies and procedures to maintain high customer service quality and compliance standardCollaborate with other departments in driving investment compliance initiativesTo maintain efficient servicing and provide efficient sales support to the sales departmentsTo ensure the sales activities are complied with the Group’s / Bank’s internal control standards, that all activities are conducted according to the related guideline and procedure manuals

Requirements

Proven track record in Manager level or in a similar leadership roleUniversity degree /or proven banking / investment experience, especially in quality assurance or compliance areasGood knowledge of investment products and businessProficiency in both Chinese and EnglishStrong PC skills and familiar with the application software, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPointStrong self-motivation, with the ability to work independently and under pressureStrong organization skills, logical thinking skills and analytical skillsGreat sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processesGood communication and interpersonal skillsPass in HKSI Licensing Examination for HKMA RI Type 1, 4, 7 registrations within 6 months in the post. Full knowledge of investment products and strong technical competency, good knowledge of the investment market and economic environmentProfessional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage.
