What is the opportunity?
As Manager, Investigations Operational Functions and Support, you will assist in supporting the Senior Manager in the maintenance and development of governance documents, reporting and issue tracking for Investigations. You will also work alongside the Senior Manager with internal partners and stakeholders to identify and resolve issues faced by investigations.
What will you do?
Develop and maintain documents used by Investigations.Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand their requirements and feedback, to ensure quality documentation is produced, which aligns with internal expectationsReview any identified issues and assist in determining root-causes or potential impacts, and escalate to Senior Manager for follow up and or escalation, when necessaryAssist in the management and maintenance of Community Connect pagesMake recommendations on new processes, tools and services that can impact multiple projects and other work areasPrepare solutions to identify potential roadblocks raised by others in response to recommendationsAccountable for keeping abreast of changes in financial crimes and related legislation and regulation affecting RBC’s activities and operationsWhat do you need to succeed?
Must-have
2+ years of experienceAdvanced MS Office Suite skills, including MS VisioAttention to detail skills must be exceptionalExtensive organization skillsAdvanced written communication skills (with a focus on grammar, sentence structure and syntax)Ability to work independently, with little to no oversight or guidance on day-to-day expectationsRegularly exercise independent judgment of matters of significance within defined procedures to determine appropriate actions/approachesDemonstrate initiative and apply concepts, while exercising effective interpersonal communication and problem-solving skillsUndergraduate degreeNice-to-have
