Manager, Inventory Management

Purpose:  

Supports NAM Inventory team with the end to end inventory process  Assists the movement and communication of total inventory across the NAM market  Drives cross-functional communication to ensure an omni-channel approach is taken   Builds proper inventory management processes and strategies for the adidas brand  Ensures established inventory/SCM targets and KPIs are driving process and alignment across the business supporting commercial objectives, financial requirements and brand integrity 

Key Accountabilities: 

Work with various business partners to analyze, review and recommend actions to maximize sales, turns and gross margin for market inventory by channel   Provide clear messaging and ensure understanding with business leaders on the current inventory environment throughout the region by providing clear and accurate data and analysis to assist in overall business decisions   Assist with excess reduction strategies utilizing an omni-channel approach   Drive established processes including, but not limited to, FO planned production excess reviews, DTC returns, Promo returns, End of Life management, Brand reviews, etc.   Assist paralleled integration of US process for CA supporting one NAM    Support business partners and leadership team with ad hoc data reporting and analysis needs   Manage weekly data on inventory by stock category for the region, inclusive of all sales channels   Collaborate cross functionally, leveraging a market level view to define insights and actions for commercial and brand partners   Provide ad hoc reporting support and guidance in SQL, Excel, PBI and SAP   Drive improvements in both inventory reporting and up/down stream inventory management processes and communication    Create communication materials for monthly SLT updates including reporting and PowerPoint presentations    Aid in providing visibility and solutions to roadblocks preventing stock commercialization   Ensure SCM and Inventory Teams are consistent in data and reporting, accurate information and analysis are provided for business decisions   Implement inventory scrapping logic & efficiencies in our distribution pipeline   Influence and support supply chain warehouse optimization & profit review 

Knowledge Skills and Abilities: 

Ability to access data from a variety of database structures and put together comprehensive reporting for the team   High level understanding of the end-to-end demand/purchasing process   Commercial and business acumen to facilitate resolution of disconnects between stakeholders  Strong analytical skills  Strong interpersonal skills (e.g. relationship management, facilitation)  High personal impact and high communication skills  Proven methodological skills (e.g. data analysis, trend forecasting)  Proficiency with MS Office Suite and familiarity with merchandising systems/applications (PowerBI, Databricks, SAP & SQL)   Advanced Excel skills, and a thorough understanding of macros, pivot tables, lookup formulas, formatting, etc.   Good planning, detail orientation and organization skills, resulting in the ability to meet critical deadlines   Able to make quick decisions off limited information   Strong communication and presentation skills, written and verbal   Proficient in MS Office applications – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint  Fluent in written and spoken English. 

Qualifications:  

Minimum 4-6 years of operations, planning or buying experience within a large Footwear, Apparel, Sporting Goods, or Consumer Products organization and with increasing degree of responsibility  4 year college degree with emphasis in business or finance
