PURPOSE:
This role delivers the people agenda for adidas Golf across Europe and Emerging Markets (EM), serving as a visible and proactive HR Business Partner in a complex, matrixed, multi-market setup. Based in Basingstoke, the role supports both the GM of Europe and the GM of Emerging Markets in achieving their strategic goals, while helping lead and connect their teams across geographies.
The HRBP is the primary HR contact for Golf employees in the UK and Ireland and represents Golf leadership in both Europe and Emerging Markets. The HRBP partners closely with local HR teams in each market to ensure the successful rollout of global, regional, and Golf-specific people initiatives, aligned with local employment practices, cultural expectations, and business priorities. The role reports into the Golf HR Director based in California and requires strong independence and comfort collaborating across time zones.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as the primary HR Business Partner for the adidas Golf teams across Europe and Emerging Markets, with day-to-day HR ownership for employees across England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Ireland. While based in Basingstoke, the role supports both office-based and field-based team members throughout these regions. For all other European and EM countries and clusters, partner closely with local market HR teams to support Golf priorities in a matrixed environment ensuring alignment with local employment practices, business structures, and cultural expectations. Act as a trusted advisor to the GMs and local leadership, providing strategic and operational HR guidance. Drive employee engagement, leadership connection, and cultural alignment across diverse teams and markets. Execute key HR processes including performance management, compensation planning, talent development, onboarding, and employee relations, balancing global standards with local context. Collaborate across HR Centers of Excellence including Talent, Rewards, HR Services, and Legal to support the full employee lifecycle. Plan and conduct occasional in-person visits to key markets to strengthen relationships and support local initiatives. Identify regional HR risks, trends, and needs, and escalate proactively to the Director HRBP Golf. Operate flexibly across time zones to support coordination with global and regional counterparts, including occasional early morning or evening collaboration as needed with stakeholders based in locations such as North America and Asia.

REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related discipline 5+ years of broad-based HR experience, preferably in multinational, multi-country roles Experience supporting dispersed or remote teams Fluency in English; other languages a plus Familiarity with UK employment law; CIPD preferred
