Manager, HR Business Partner
Job Summary:

Disney’s Direct to Consumer team oversees the Streaming businesses within Disney Entertainment, helping to bring The Walt Disney Company’s best-in-class storytelling to fans and families everywhere. The DTC Human Resources team plays a critical role alongside the DTC team by engaging employees, inspiring change, and enabling the businesses to achieve results. How do we do this? By enabling wise decisions by using business data, metrics and external market insights.

As a forward-looking HR leader supporting our DTC organization, you will serve as a strategic business partner to senior leadership by developing and delivering integrated and inclusive HR Services Strategy Development, Organization Design, Talent Management, Organizational Effectiveness, Change & Transition Management, DE&I and Functional HR Integration.          

Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain a deep understanding of the organization and DTC business, as well as emerging trends in talent management and organizational dynamics across the industry

Build effective and productive working relationships with internal stakeholders and clients, at all levels of the organization

Drive people engagement strategies that align with business priorities and foster an environment where all employees are respected and valued

Coach business leaders and employees on HR policies and processes, including talent planning, learning and development, and performance management to promote engagement and a culture of continuous growth and development

Translate near and long-term operating goals into HR strategies; initiate and implement the work with key stakeholders and functional partners to ensure appropriate solutions are delivered to address business strategies

Work closely with functional partners with heavy intersection with Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Talent Solutions and Employee Relations for both day-to-day needs and long-term projects

Assess talent capabilities and development needs based on business strategy in order to help close gaps between current and future skill sets

Integrate diversity and inclusion strategies and priorities into business plans

Build compelling presentations leveraging workforce analytics and insights to focus leaders on relevant business issues and assessing potential solutions  

Be an effective bridge builder across all functions and levels within the organization

Challenge the status quo; pursue different approaches to our work by demonstrating flexibility, nimbleness, transparency, agility and global thinking

Work Experience and Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in human resources, organization development, or related talent planning field

Education:

BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business or equivalent experience

The hiring range for this position in California is $137,100 to $167,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
