Read more: careers.bms.com/working-with-us . **Position Summary** The FP&A Hematology role is a manager role that serves as the Finance business partner to a brand lead and is responsible for providing financial support, advice and stewardship for the Hematology brand team. **Key Responsibilities** + Drive the Management budgeting, forecasting and reporting for Hematology brand team working closely with on-shore and off-shore team members to consolidate and analyze all financial information including actuals, budgets, projections, monthly/quarterly closes and manage ad-hoc requests + Partner with brand teams to help them deliver on their Sales, OpEx & headcount budgets. + Monitor the business performance for Japan Hematology businesses and provide financial analysis and guidance on business activities, targets, and business drivers. Initiate new ideas to improve the quality, efficiency, and analytics of financial reporting + Establish a high level of credibility and manage strong working relationships with business partners and involved functions (brand marketing, medical, sales, AI&A, Value Access & Pricing, Supply Chain, Commercial Excellence) including a close partnership with US based WW colleagues to align assumptions and address questions + Challenge results and develop recommendations to improve financial performance. + Scenario planning and calculation of complex financial implications to identify and communicate financial risks and opportunities. + Take on other ad-hoc roles involving stakeholder alignment on Opex management as required. **Qualifications & Experience** + Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting with MBA/CPA preferred. + 5-8 years of financial Planning & Analysis experience exhibiting increasing levels of responsibility anchored in solid accounting knowledge. + Mastery of financial analysis, modeling, Budget/Projection cycles, P&L, strategic partnering, ability to explain complex financial details to non-finance colleagues and contribute or lead process improvement initiatives. + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills + Understanding of operational business strategies and issues. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment often with aggressive deadlines and quick turnarounds. + At ease with matrix collaboration and working across lines of business + High level of proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint. + Experience with SAP-Analysis for Office and Hyperion is required, and familiarity with Workday and MS teams is desirable. + Strong understanding of pharmaceutical commercialization dynamics is an asset.
