We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Global Trade who will manage export/import licensing and compliance activities within Raytheon’s Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS) business. The successful candidate will be expected to manage export/import licensing and compliance activities. You will be expected to work with the program Empowered Official or act as the program Empowered Official (as applicable) and be responsible for contributing to key global trade compliance infrastructure elements including people, processes/procedures, automated solutions/tools, training, and metrics. 

You will collaborate closely with a broad base of functional groups across the organization and champion compliant business practices in the intricate landscape of export and import regulations. This position operates in a high-energy, fast-paced environment, fostering relationships with internal customers and collaborating with multiple business functions to achieve success.

What You Will Do

Provide export/import licensing guidance and license portfolio management guidance.Support the business with developing export/import licensing strategies to enable business growth.Subject Matter Expert (SME) in ITAR and EAR Export Authorizations requirements and drafting.Review, prepare, submit, and manage various Export/Import Authorizations (Licenses: DSP-5, DSP-85, DSP-73, DSP-61, DOC licenses; Agreements: MLAs and TAAs; Exemptions/Exceptions) to authorize the transfer of regulated hardware, technical data, software, and services.Review and approve export transactional requests involving engineering support services, meetings, employee travel, visitor access, technical data/defense service exports, and hardware exports.Provide day-to-day guidance and support to LADS personnel on export licensing and compliance needs (e.g., releasability, etc.). Interpret and explain export compliance requirements such as license/agreement provisos, export regulations, and Raytheon export policies and procedures.Assist with investigations and reviews of possible GT escapes and disclosures.Some travel will be required to support GT or program meetings.

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experienceExperience in drafting and submitting Department of State and/or Department of Commerce license and agreement applications and other authorization requestsExperience with DECCS, SNAP-R, OCR EASE, and/or other automated licensing and compliance systems and/or resources

Remote: This position currently is designated as remote. Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The successful candidate for this role will be required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories).

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require an active U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year‒ Security Clearance: This position requires a security clearance. The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
