Labcorp is seeking a hybrid Manager, Global Sourcing, to join our team in Burlington, NC or Indianapolis, Indiana.

Work Schedule
This is a full‑time, exempt (salaried) position assigned to a schedule, with standard business hours from Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in your time zone. This schedule includes a minimum of three in-office days per week in Burlington, NC (Wednesdays are mandatory) or Indianapolis, IN supporting both collaboration and flexibility
Business needs may occasionally require flexibility in work hours, including earlier, later, or additional hours, with reasonable notice provided when possible.
Job Responsibilities
Execute spot buys and high-volume transactional sourcing activities in accordance with established procurement policies and proceduresSource goods and services primarily through approved and preferred supplier networks to ensure compliance and efficiencyEvaluate supplier quotes, ensuring alignment with cost, quality, and delivery requirementsManage relationships with low-complexity, low-risk suppliers, including onboarding, performance monitoring, and issue resolutionEnsure adherence to global sourcing standards, procurement policies, and regulatory compliance requirementsSupport a secure and reliable global supply chain by following risk mitigation and supplier compliance protocolsProcess sourcing requests with a focus on speed, accuracy, and high-quality service deliveryCollaborate with internal stakeholders to understand sourcing needs and provide timely, effective procurement solutionsOperate within Center of Excellence (COE) governance models, ensuring consistency and alignment with global processesMaintain accurate documentation and records of sourcing activities, supplier interactions, and procurement decisionsMonitor and track sourcing request progress to ensure timely completion and stakeholder satisfactionIdentify opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce cycle times in transactional sourcingEscalate supplier performance, compliance, or operational issues in accordance with governance protocolsSupport audits and reporting requirements related to sourcing activities and supplier complianceMinimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field5+ years of progressive experience in sourcing, procurement operations, supply chain management, or finance2+ years of hands-on experience executing transactional sourcing activities (e.g., spot buys, RFQs)2+ years of experience working with approved/preferred supplier programs and procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Coupa)Foundational knowledge (typically gained over 1–2+ years of experience) of global sourcing standards, compliance requirements, and procurement policies1+ years of experience supporting cross-functional stakeholders and managing multiple sourcing requests in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentPreferred QualificationsMaster’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration (MBA), or a related discipline7–10+ years of experience in global sourcing, finance, or procurement operations within a matrixed or multinational organizationRelevant professional certifications such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), CIPS, or APICS2+ years of experience in logistics, travel, or indirect category sourcing environments2+ years of exposure to Center of Excellence (COE) governance models and shared services procurement structures3+ years of experience managing low-complexity suppliers and supporting supplier lifecycle processesWorking knowledge (typically 1–2+ years of exposure) to risk mitigation practices within a global supply chainAdditional Job Standards
