Manager, Global Corporate Citizenship
Key responsibilities: Program Management: + Provide end-to-end support for employee events that provide volunteer support and donations to local nonprofit organizations. + Provide strategic support for AIG’s Skills-based volunteer program which includes scoping and promoting IT, HR, Communications, and Legal Pro Bono skills-based volunteer opportunities. + Manage all aspects of the AIG Corporate Museum Membership Program. + Contribute to ongoing operations of AIG's Employee Assistance Fund to encourage contributions to and grant requests. + Conduct evaluative research on potential nonprofit partners and volunteer project opportunities. + Collect, analyze and develop reports on project and program data; make improvements based on findings. + Collaborate with HR teams including Learning & Development, Early Careers, Culture & Inclusion to foster areas of strategic alignment. Events: + Provide support to Community Leaders coordinating volunteer events in global AIG offices. Support AIG's Executive Leadership Team, Global Head of Corporate Citizenship, and Corporate Citizenship Directors on philanthropic initiatives. Special initiative support including Global Volunteer Month, Giving Tuesday, Early Careers/IICF Month of Giving. + Enhance AIG’s community involvement by creating and distributing resources for the company’s volunteer programs, giving campaigns, and related community involvement activities (such as volunteer committees, matching gifts programs, and virtual, on and off-site employee events). + Develop toolkits, FAQs and other reference resources for employees to use as they give back to their local communities. + Represent company at community events, professional associations, and corporate functions, when appropriate. Operations and Administration: + Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding charitable contributions, matching grants and volunteer events, providing full customer service support in response to inquiries from AIG employees, external nonprofit/nongovernmental organizations and vendors. Develop reports including, but not limited to, the annual Citizenship report/update and presentations for AIG’s Board of Directors and Executive Leadership Team. + Draft, review, and/or edit policies, procedures, toolkits, FAQ documents, guidelines and additional frameworks. + Provide support for the management of AIG’s employee volunteer/giving portal including issues tracking, user acceptance testing and employee customer service. + Implement and support global technology and regulatory requirements between Corporate Citizenship and IT. + Conduct research in support of disaster preparedness and following natural and man-made disasters that may require a response from AIG. Work with business bureaus, organizations, governmental representatives and employees to develop and implement recommendations for short- and long-term responses, as appropriate. + Support basic finance and invoicing processing. Communications: + Develop content for communications that engage employees in and promote AIG’s Corporate Citizenship work to be used in multiple internal and external outlets. Promote understanding of and adherence to Corporate Citizenship policies and processes. + Provide content to be leveraged in the company’s annual reporting + Develop content for talking points, toolkits and FAQs to help communicate programs to internal and external audiences. + Complete surveys as requested by nonprofit and industry partners. + Research and apply for award/recognition opportunities. Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) + 5+ years of experience working in a corporate or non-profit organization with a focus on corporate citizenship initiatives or special events + Superior project management skills, ability to manage several complex projects at once + Experience with Citizenship giving systems – managing third party vendors, back office data and reporting + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) + Excellent communication skills (both oral and written, including digital) + Ability to influence, drive change, build coalitions and gain support + Excellent analytical, data visualization and critical thinking skills + Ability to inspire, engage, and work with stakeholders at all levels across multiple business units + High comfort level with supporting and interacting with senior management + Ability to work well in a fast-paced setting which blends both corporate and non-profit cultures + Ability to navigate through a complex enterprise while working independently and as a highly collaborative and effective team member + Attention to detail, consistent and accurate follow-through on projects + Ability to manage and/or attend local community events which may take place during the evenings or on weekends ​ For positions based in New Jersey, the base salary range is $83,000 - 115,000. For positions based in New York City, the base salary range is $108,000-134,000. In addition, the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
