Our Pratt & Whitney Component Solutions organization has an exciting opportunity for a Manager of Finance.
This is an onsite position based out of our facilities in Muskegon, Michigan.
What You Will Do:
Pratt & Whitney Component Solutions (PWCS) is a Michigan based strategic player within Pratt & Whitney Canada’s (PWC) Customer Service organization distributing new, used, repaired, and exchange material to the global PWC Aftermarket customer base.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual with a strong background in both finance and accounting as well as developed teamwork, leadership, and effective communication skills.
This individual will work directly with various cross-functional teams members including finance, operations, inventory planning, and compliance.
Key responsibilities:
- Actively engaged in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process including journal entries, account reconciliations variance analysis and financial reporting with timely deadline requirements.
- Ensure accounting policy requirements are met including annual controls testing in Archer.
- Partner with Digital Technology to own systems requirements including OneStream and SAP.
- Serve as the SME for all AR activity & disputes in collaboration with sales team, analysis, reserve requirements, and accounting adjustments.
- Provide direct support as the primary point of contact to PWC/RTX for all tax reporting and activities.
- Provide support with the intercompany aging and management.
- Support Customer Master Data Team as the Data Steward for this division.
Special projects – POC for RTX/PWC Treasury projects.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 8+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance; OR an Advanced degree in Accounting or Finance and 5+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
- Advanced MS Excel Skills.
- Solid understanding of US GAAP and cost accounting.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience with SAP, S4Hana.
- Experience with HFM and/or OneStream.
- Strong data analytics (Power BI).
- Excellent compliance and critical thinking abilities.
- Project Management & Time Management skills.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate outside direct reporting chain of command.
- Experience with facilitating change with peers and cross-functional teams.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
