What You Will Get To Do:

Proactively manage client issues including trade processing, fund valuation, fee calculations and investor reportingReview client and investor reports for accuracy and compliance with fund offering documents and service level agreementsTrain and mentor fund and senior accountantsSolve product, technical and procedural problems raised by fund accountantsImprove efficiency and the group’s throughput by streamlining processesSuch other activities as you may be assigned by your immediate manager, or other SS&C manager or director

What You Will Bring:

Strong communication skillsExcellent problem solving and analytical skillsSignificant hedge fund/private equity fund or investment accounting experienceThorough understanding of Canadian, US and international investment characteristics is required in both common and exoticsExperience with IFRS investment funds financial reportingAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft ExcelPost-secondary degree is required – Accounting or Finance preferred
