Pratt and Whitney (PW) has an opening for a Manager, Full Stack Development. **Key Responsibilities:** + Design, develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend and frontend applications. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, DevOps, and Design to deliver high-quality software solutions. + Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in accordance with coding standards and best practices. + Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and team planning activities. + Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with secure coding and deployment practices. + Work with cloud-native services and contribute to microservice and micro frontend architecture. + Support legacy systems and assist in modernization and migration efforts. + Engage in unit, integration, and system testing to ensure code quality and coverage. **Required Skills & Qualifications:** **Backend Development:** + **Proficient in C#** and **.NET with 6 + years** of experience in backend development. + Strong experience with **MS SQL Server** and **Entity Framework Core** + Knowledge of **microservices** + Experience with **unit testing** frameworks like **XUnit** , **MSTest** , + Familiarity with **OAuth 2.0** and **OpenID Connect** for secure API authentication. + Experience with **Event-driven architecture** and **Domain-driven design (DDD)** . + Proficiency with **message brokers** like **RabbitMQ** and **AWS Kafka** for managing communication in distributed systems. + Familiarity with **DevSecOps** practices, including **CI/CD** pipelines and **secure coding** best practices (OWASP). **Frontend:** + Proficiency in **Angular 13+** for front-end development. + Strong experience with **ngRX or** **RxJS** for handling asynchronous operations and managing state. + Knowledge of design patterns like **Smart-Dumb components** for maintainable code. + Familiarity with testing frameworks like **Jest/Karma** . + Experience with **Micro Front-End architecture** for scalable and independent front-end components. **Preferred Skills:** + Familiarity with **AWS** services, especially in the context of event-driven architectures (e.g., **AWS Lambda** , **SNS** , **SQS** ). + Experience with **container orchestration** tools like **Kubernetes** . + Familiarity with **Cloud platforms** (AWS, Azure, GCP) for cloud-native development. + Familiarity with **Clean Architecture** , **CQRS** , and **MediatR** library for building maintainable systems + Familiarity with **Docker** and **OpenShift** for containerization and deployment of applications + Familiarity with **Nrwl/NX framework** for modular Angular architecture + Experience with **Backend for Frontend (BFF)** or **API Gateway** patterns to manage API calls and handle back-end communication + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in **Computer Science** , **Software Engineering** , or a related field, or equivalent practical experience + 9+ years of experience in a full stack or back-end development role. + Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment + Proven ability to work in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) + Excellent communication and problem-solving skills + Ability to mentor and lead junior developers + Strong analytical skills and attention to detail _RTX adheres to the principles of equal employment.
