About the role
Responsible for leading the design, execution, and continuous improvement of Field Operations processes that support Field Sales teams in delivering a consistent, efficient, and customer-focused selling experience. This role partners closely with Field Sales, IT, Full Service Operations and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure field tools, systems, and workflows—such as Xstore and field ordering processes—are operationally sound, scalable, and easy to execute. Leads and inspires the Operations team to improve sales execution, operational efficiency, and customer experience through disciplined process design and technology enablement.
Location: Hybrid | Three days at the Sally Beauty Support Center, Legacy West (Plano, TX); Remote other days.

Leads the strategic development, standardization, and optimization of field operational processes that support the selling model and drive sales and profitability. Owns end-to-end field workflows including field ordering, order execution, and in-store transactional processes supported by Xstore. Identifies process gaps, inefficiencies, and operational risks, and partners with IT and business stakeholders to implement sustainable improvements that enhance field productivity and execution.

Designs clear, concise process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), job aids, and training materials that enable Field Sales teams to consistently and effectively execute operational processes. Accountable for supporting field adoption of new or enhanced processes and systems, including onboarding and training for the iPad and sales technology. Partners with IT and Operations teams to resolve field issues, streamline escalation paths, and proactively prevent recurring operational breakdowns.

Leads iPad refresh in partnership with IT as well as iPad Training. Proactively partners cross-functionally with Field Sales leadership, Store Operations, IT, Finance, and external vendors to address operational challenges and execution gaps. Translates field feedback into actionable process improvements that simplify workflows, reduce friction, and improve the overall effectiveness of field operations.

Drives operational initiatives that support sales growth and profitability, including improvements to field ordering: Pay by link, Narvar, PDF experts, etc. Ensures field operational processes align with enterprise strategies and support consistent execution across the field.
Knowledge, skills & abilities requirements
5+ years of experience in Operations Management, Field Operations, or Process Improvement or Technology ManagementStrong experience designing and improving operational workflows in a field or multi-location environmentHands-on experience supporting iPads and other tools such as, Xstore and SalesforceProven ability to partner with IT and cross-functional teams to deliver process-driven improvementsProficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Working conditions & physical requirements
Location: Hybrid | Three days at the Sally Beauty Support Center, Legacy West (Plano, TX); Remote other days.
The typical working environment is in the support center office, and the work is sedentary. Typically, the associate may sit comfortably to do the job. However, some tasks and activities may be walking, standing, bending, carrying light items such as papers, files, books, and small parts, driving an automobile to a store location, etc. These activities are not frequent and do not require significant physical demands to perform the work.
While involving everyday risks or discomforts, the work environment is designed with standard safety precautions. These precautions, typical of offices, meeting and training rooms, retail stores, residences, or commercial vehicles, include using safe work practices with office equipment, avoiding trips and falls, observing fire regulations and traffic signals, etc. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated, ensuring the safety and comfort of our associates.
