What you’ll be doing
As Manager, Franchising Campaigns on the Franchising Effectiveness Team, you will be responsible for managing and executing Pre-Approved Credit Card acquisition campaigns across both digital channels (including email, DDC, and SMS) and assisted channels (such as CIBC Banking Centres, Contact Centres, and CIBC Mobile Specialists), as well as additional franchising campaigns and initiatives. You will support key product acquisition campaigns and develop strategies to maximize performance and maintain CIBC’s competitive position in the marketplace. The Manager includes managing and monitoring key business metrics, evaluating targeting and strategy for pre-approved credit card sales opportunities across various client segments, and partnering with high-performing business and cross-functional teams across PBB and the enterprise to implement programs and tactics that drive revenue growth while prioritizing client experience. The Manager works independently, leveraging a comprehensive understanding of products, campaigns, client segments, and campaign reporting to develop, enhance, and optimize campaigns, improve client experience, and support clients in achieving their goals. The role requires sound judgment in decision-making on complex issues and contributes to targeting, campaign planning, channel management, and sales performance to efficiently and competitively meet CIBC client needs. Additionally, you will manage and monitor key business metrics, oversee campaign requirements and processes, empower frontline staff, and continuously evolve existing processes and systems.

How you’ll succeed
Campaign execution - Lead the development and implementation of product campaigns to achieve targets for credit card products and other products as may be relevant and contribute to achieving key franchising metrics. Identify and implement new opportunities for improving pre-approved credit cards / other product campaign performance. Determine feasibility and impact while contributing to CIBC’s client experience objectives.
Analytical - Understand and interpret complex information, identify patterns and trends in new or strategic areas, and develop recommendations, often with minimal direction in order to respond to urgent business priorities.
Relationship management – Collaborate with key partner stakeholders to ensure alignment with the franchising strategies being implemented. Establish rapport and work effectively with internal and external partners including Retail Channels, Client Strategy, Risk Management, Finance, Legal and Compliance, Sales Support, Marketing, Technology, other lines of businesses, and business partners.
Who you are
You can demonstrate 2 to 3years of work experience in strategic business planning, business model development and marketing best practices. You have strong analytical skills and proven ability to execute net new initiatives.
You can demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Credit Card business, financial services, and marketing & product management to support defining clients for targeting, working with partners to set up campaigns, and monitoring performance & making refinements as needed
You've have a business degree (BBA or MBA preferred).
