Job Description
Reporting to the Director, Finance, the Manager will work cross functionally to support both business valuations and financial planning & analysis (“FP&A”). To support these functions, the Manager will assist in the review of asset valuations and financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting and provide insights to support strategic initiatives. In addition, the Manager will leverage their strong finance and accounting fundamentals to collaborate with our financial reporting group on quarterly internal and external reporting mandates.

University degree in Business or Finance or related fieldRecognized professional designation(s) (CPA, CFA, CBV);Minimum of 5 years of progressive work experience in finance and / or accounting function;Strong financial systems experience, including advanced PowerPoint and Excel skillsDemonstrated leadership ability, a team player with positive attitude and pro-active approach to workExperience managing staff through large projects and tight timelinesHighly analytical with great attention to detail Strong communication skills, can work effectively with all levels and departments within a complex organization Can work in a dynamic, complex, fast-paced environment, adapt quickly to manage changing priorities and deadlinesStrategic thinker that can think outside the box, focused on efficiency and improving existing processesSelf-motivated and pro-active, with respect to both managing workload and professional developmentExperience with Bloomberg, CapitalIQ, OneStream and other finance systems an asset.Brookfield is committed to maintaining a Positive Work Environment that is safe and respectful; our shared success depends on it.
