Job Summary
The Manager, Financial Systems will own the optimization, integration, and support of financial systems to support our finance and accounting teams. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of financial platforms and processes, while partnering with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
This position will build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with relevant stakeholders such as Information Technology, Finance & Accounting, Store and Ecommerce Systems teams, and other business teams as required.
This role will report to the Director, Finance Projects & Systems.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the administration, configuration, and enhancement of financial systems processes and support the day-to-day system operations and integrations (e.g., sales, franchise billings, reporting tools)Ensure integration and error handling from other systems to finance systems are remediated in a timely manner.Leverage data analytics tools and queries to analyze and assess the integrity of data flowsOwn various projects and enhancements in an Agile environment including but not limited to requirement gathering, design, UAT testing, post go-live support, training, and documentation.Support compliance with the internal control environment in relation to IT systems controls including by maintaining all related policies and performing user roles reviews, and supporting external audit requestsAs the finance SME, collaborate on projects owned by cross-functional teams, assessing finance downstream impacts and advocating for best practicesLiaise with external auditors and responsible for providing all systems requirements.Collaborate with IT, warehouse operations, and merchandising for any troubleshooting in existing systems, new builds, and ensuring finance and accounting requirements are carried out/configured as needed.Identify areas of improvement within the processes and systemsWork closely with all stakeholders/business teams (e.g. cross functional business teams, external partners and vendors) to establish, maintain and strengthen relationships regarding operational issues or improvements.Skills, Experience, Education, Certifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Information Systems or related fieldCPA designation requiredExperience working with warehouse management systems, Manhattan preferredExperience in working with large ERP systems such as Dynamics, SAP, or Oracle5 years of relevant experiences including project management, financial systems implementationExperience in developing and understanding internal controls and/or designing access & controlsUnderstanding of accounting and finance processes including day to day processes and month-endStrong interpersonal and oral/written/presentation skills.Competencies
