FleetPride is seeking a highly analytical and technically skilled Manager, Finance Shared Services to support and lead key functions across Finance Shared Services and Accounting. This role expands beyond reporting and analytics to include leadership and oversight of offshore transactional teams, ensuring operational excellence, standardization, and accountability across accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) processes.
This individual will serve as a central leader for data-driven insights, reporting development, and process optimization, while also managing the performance and effectiveness of offshore teams. The role will drive visibility into key financial and operational metrics, establish and monitor KPIs, and ensure consistent execution of standardized processes across global teams.
In addition to advanced analytics and systems support, this role will be responsible for implementing governance frameworks, performance management routines, and continuous improvement initiatives across shared services operations. The ideal candidate combines strong technical and analytical expertise with leadership experience in managing offshore teams, driving process discipline, and improving service delivery.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Analytics & Reporting Development
Lead the development, enhancement, and maintenance of financial and operational reporting across Finance Shared Services and AccountingDesign and deliver KPI dashboards and standardized reporting for daily, weekly, and monthly performance trackingTranslate business needs into actionable data models, reports, and visualizationsPerform deep-dive data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvementPartner with stakeholders to improve visibility into key metrics such as close performance, working capital, transactional efficiency, and service levelsEnsure consistency, accuracy, and integrity of data used in reportingData Mining & Insights Generation for Finance Shared Services & Accounting
Serve as the primary resource for extracting and analyzing large data sets from multiple systemsDevelop scalable data solutions to support evolving business and reporting needsIdentify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes and improve efficiencyProvide ad hoc analysis to support leadership decision-making and strategic initiativesSystems & Technical Administration
Act as a functional and technical resource for finance and accounting systems (e.g., ERP, reporting tools, and data platforms)Support system configurations, reporting tools, and data structures to enhance usability and reporting capabilitiesPartner with IT and Finance leadership on system enhancements, implementations, and upgradesTroubleshoot reporting and system-related issues and provide user supportOffshore Shared Services Leadership & Governance
Provide direct oversight and leadership of offshore AR and AP transactional teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and service expectationsEstablish clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations for offshore personnelDevelop and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and productivity metrics to drive accountability, service quality, and continuous improvementImplement standardized processes, documentation, and operating procedures across offshore teams to ensure consistency and scalabilityLead regular performance reviews, operational cadence calls, and business reviews with offshore partnersPartner with third-party providers (if applicable) to ensure contractual adherence, service delivery, and issue resolutionIdentify training needs and coordinate onboarding and ongoing development for offshore team membersDrive a culture of accountability, responsiveness, and continuous improvement within offshore teamsEnsure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and audit requirements across offshore operationsAct as escalation point for complex transactional issues, service disruptions, and cross-functional dependenciesProcess Improvement & Automation
Drive continuous improvement in transactional and reporting processes through automation and standardization using AI, RPA or other solutionsReduce manual effort by developing repeatable, scalable reporting solutions Identify and implement best practices in data governance, reporting design, and analyticsStandardize AR and AP processes across onshore and offshore teams to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalabilityIdentify opportunities to transition additional transactional activities to offshore teams where appropriate Cross-Functional PartnershipCollaborate with Accounting, Finance Shared Services, IT, and Operations teams to align reporting with business needsAct as a liaison between technical teams and finance stakeholders to ensure solutions meet functional requirementsSupport training and adoption of reporting tools and dashboards across the organizationPartner with Finance, Accounting, and Operations leadership to align offshore service delivery with business prioritiesCommunicate offshore performance, risks, and improvement initiatives to senior leadershipEDUCATION & TRAINING
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field requiredCPA or progress toward certification preferredKNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
10+ years in an accounting, finance shared services or similar environment for a medium to large organization5+ years’ experience in data analysis and reporting across multiple systems and high volumes of dataStrong understanding of accounting processes and financial data structuresExperience with ERP systems required (AS400 preferred)Experience with reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Cognos/TM1, or similar) strongly preferredProficiency in data extraction and manipulation tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Power Query)Experience working in and/or managing finance shared services environments, including offshore or global delivery models, strongly preferred3–5+ years of experience managing or leading offshore or remote transactional teams (AR, AP, or similar functions)Demonstrated experience establishing and managing KPIs, SLAs, and performance metrics in a shared services environmentExperience driving process standardization, documentation, and operational governance across distributed teamsExperience working with third-party outsourcing providers or global capability centers (GCCs) preferredStrong understanding of end-to-end AR and AP processes, including controls, compliance, and service delivery expectationsProven ability to lead process improvements and transitions of work (onshore to offshore or vice versa)SKILLS & ABILITIES
