We are looking to grow our finance center team including operations. Our business is known as the fastest growing across the organization, and this is your chance to join us! Seeking a Finance Manager who will provide finance and business partnering leadership to The Bioproduction Group (BPG) leadership team. This role will support the overall financial consolidation of BPG as well as directly support the BPG operations team. In addition, the position holder will provide valuable decision support, identify and implement operational improvement opportunities. **What you will do:** + Support AOP / QBR / MBR / STRAP in a matrixed financial forecast + Finance Business Partner for BPG Operations Vice President + Business partnership to centralized operations functions (Quality, Supply Chain, etc.) + Lead BPG divisional operation finance teams for total group consolidation. + Monitor and analyze financials, including monthly and quarterly reporting (revenue, gross margin, OPEX, Financial metrics, and CAPEX) + Support data analysis for the business, using complex data and problem solving + Analyze financial and business performance against key business metrics and identify pertinent financial highlights, enabling understanding of progress against strategic business plans + Understands and deploys the best tools / methods to effectively communicate complex data and topics + Develops high quality effective presentations (i.e. engaging, motivating, concise, well-prep) + Identify, communicate, and lead risk & opportunities Primary office at Carlsbad, CA, USA **How you will get here:** **Education** + An undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting or a relevant field is required **Experience** + Minimum of 5+ years of business and Finance experience + Some experience with people management + Prior experience in a large global company and highly matrixed organization + Proficient at understanding and proactively communicating the financial implications of business decisions and dynamics **Knowledge, Skills, Abilities** + An ideal candidate will possess excellent academic credentials and strong finance skills + Proven understanding of Excel (i.e., financial models and analysis), ERP (or equivalent), PowerPoint, and Hyperion is preferred + Proficient verbal and written communication skills + Proven business partner and influencer **Travel requirements** + Less than 10% domestic/international travel required. **Compensation and Benefits** This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
