How You’ll Make an Impact

Oversee technical operations to maintain network integrity and ensure consistent delivery of voice, video and data servicesProvide guidance and technical support to staff, fostering development in new and established technologies and operational standardsManage purchasing, budgeting and capital projects including business plan development and deployment of Spectrum productsDirect quality assurance initiatives and resolve escalated customer issues to uphold service excellenceMonitor and improve compliance with industry standards, including FCC requirements, and recommend procedural enhancementsCoordinate with Construction, Dispatch, Warehouse, Engineering, and Care teams to optimize customer experiences and streamline fulfillment processesHire, train, and manage performance for fulfillment staff, promoting a high-performance environment

Working Conditions

Work mainly in an office with occasional assignments in confined or poorly ventilated spaces and exposure to dust, noise, cleaning solutions, insects and animals during field operationsPerform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions and times, sometimes near power lines or at elevated heights, and travel as needed in inclement weatherOperate within a fast-paced environment that runs continuously

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in electronics or related field, or equivalent professional experienceIndustry and vendor certifications and training, including NCTI, SCTE, BCT/E

Experience:

5+ years in technical supervisory roles or equivalent experience

Skills:

Proficiency in English communication (reading, writing, speaking)Advanced understanding of network designs, architectures, topologies and the TCP/IP stackExpertise in Headend operations, construction practices and installation/service proceduresAbility to use weight-bearing equipment, measure distances accurately and differentiate wire sizes and colorsSkilled in operating bucket trucks, test equipment and handheld devicesCapable of splicing coaxial cable and making precise cable connectionsExperience handling multiple projects, prioritizing tasks and maintaining confidentialityStrong supervisory and motivational abilitiesKnowledge of technical proofs of performance, Spectrum products and services and capital/operating budget processesCompetence in Microsoft Office and relevant software applicationsValid driver’s license meeting Spectrum standards

The base pay for this position generally is between $96,300.00 and $205,100.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
