What this job involves:

JLL is hiring a Manager, Facilities for one of its nation-wide accounts. We will rely on your expertise to manage day-to-day client activities of multiple locations (approximately 40 sites) . The Manager has overall responsibility for site budgets, accounting and finance, maintenance and operations, contract services, purchasing of material, equipment and supplies purchases, and occupancy services, administration and helpdesk.

This is a fixed term role until May 2026.

 

What your day-to-day will look like:

Create and maintain superior client service practicesDevelop and manage annual operating and capital expense budgetsManage a staff of diverse skilled tradesmen and professionalsCoordinate the operational aspects of the property in a manner, which protects, maintains and improves the value of the client’s assetsEnsure all site management and operations practices are in compliance with company and client standardsPerform monthly reporting, forecasting and asset management on all sitesImplement preventive, ongoing and anticipated maintenance/repair programsDevelop multi-year capital improvement project plans and manage the process to complete the capital projectsManage third-party vendor contracted services as required, including periodic bidding and insurance updatesMonitor performance per scopes of work and contractual agreements

Required Qualifications:

7 + years experience in facilities management Superior people management skillsSuperior client relationship management skillsAbility to plan and manage within budget and time constraintsExperience with managing multiple vendors and small capital projectsProficiency with Excel; Word is preferredExcellent communication and organizational skillsUnderstanding commercial leases, routine accounting methods, and trade union protocolsAbility to work without direct supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

   Professional license or certification is desired but not requiredBachelors degree or relevant post-secondary education

 

Estimated compensation for this position:

75,000.00 – 90,000.00 CAD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.

Remote –Calgary, AB, Cranbrook, BC, Kelowna, BC
