Manager, Event Operations and Programming (Hudson Yards Experiences)
Responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Manager of Event Operations and Programming to join our marketing team at Hudson Yards Experiences (‘HYE’). This role is pivotal in developing and executing owned events and programming, as well as working with various third-party partners to bring high-profile public and private events to life.

 

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate and coordinate across all HYE departments and 3rd party vendors (marketing, operations, security, facilities, food and beverage, etc.) to develop and execute seasonal, permanent and one-time special events and programming opportunities with HYE, Demonstrate attention to detail and creativity in all aspects of event production, partner relations, and event marketing strategies.Act as main point of contact on-site for walk-throughs, load-ins, and during events to ensure seamless event execution. Lead the generation and execution of event agreements and brand activations, ensuring timely execution, high satisfaction, and ongoing collaboration with internal stakeholders and third-party partnersManage projects involving various departments (e.g., marketing, facilities, legal, operations) and agencies, demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detailCoordinate with HYE’s PR and social agencies and the broader Hudson Yards campus to develop and execute events and programming that drive revenue, earned media coverage, and social buzzFlexibly support other types of Edge marketing events as needed (e.g., photoshoots, filming, performances, internal company events)Support new events sales, leveraging experience and relationships in the industryLead event communications, including updates and reporting to the internal operations and leadership teams as well as to key stakeholders across Hudson Yards. This includes generation and distribution of all event documentation and maintaining the master events calendar across all attraction spaces.

Compensation

The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.

 

Anticipated base salary range: $90,000 - $110,000 / year

Actual base salary within the anticipated range will be determined by several components including, but not limited to, the individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and market factors.


Qualifications

4-6 years of experience in event production, event marketing, and relationship management, or in a similar role, preferably within the sports, entertainment, hospitality, or attractions industriesProven track record of managing events and working with legal agreements, COIs, and third-party vendorsHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skillsEvent management experience is requiredBachelor’s degree preferredFlexibility to work weekends, early mornings, and evenings as needed
