Manager, Employee Benefits and Retirement (EB&R)

In this role, you will contribute to exceptional client satisfaction through the timely delivery of high-quality end products, supported by a deep understanding of the needs that drive sales and service success for our group benefits clients. **A day in the life –** + Work within strategy to align HCW EB&R operations and delivery with our Canadian National Practice expectations. + Ensure effective, efficient, and scalable business processes and procedures are in place. + Optimize both the quality and volume of work. + Support the hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management of the Employee Benefits Service Team and Employee Benefits Sales Executives. + Develop and support individualized development plans to drive ongoing growth and engagement within the service team. + Identify gaps and opportunities within EB&R work processes and implement operational efficiencies. + Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key account contacts. + Assist with planning and execution of provincial sales and practice events. + Collaborate to develop and deliver education programs for internal teams and prospective clients. + Work closely with insurance partners through effective problem-solving, negotiation, and relationship management. + Collaborate with the business development team and leadership team to share client knowledge and insights. + Understand client needs and priorities and work closely with producers to resolve escalated issues. + Effectively track, analyze, and communicate monthly and quarterly performance metrics to internal stakeholders and the leadership team. + Collaborate with national and corporate resources to ensure alignment and consistency. + Some travel between regions may be required. **What you will bring to our team –** + Minimum of 5 years’ experience in group benefits. + LLQP licensed (BC or other provinces). + Industry designation preferred (e.g., CEBS). + Leadership or management experience is an asset. + Ability to work collaboratively within a team. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Excellent interpersonal skills. + Exceptional organizational and time-management skills. **Salary Expectations –** The expected salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level.
