Responsible for production, planning, administration, and general management activities within the distribution center; including day-to-day supervision and overseeing the work of DC Supervisors and staff. Must have direct experience with establishing, measuring, and monitoring warehouse production metrics and collaborating with support teams to develop and implement solutions for operational improvements, policies, and procedures. Motivates, organizes, and encourages team to build a people and performance-driven, team-oriented culture. Oversight includes but is not limited to systems performance related to DC processes, order generation, picking, packing, shipping, shipping accuracy, audits, quality program, training, inventory management, cycle counts, and replenishment. Accountable for recruiting and staffing in collaboration with Hanger HR and recruiting teams. Responsible for developing and achieving the P&L budget. Models the Hanger core values and employs a personal approach and communication style which fosters collaboration and inclusion between the leadership and warehouse employees.

Your Impact Establish, measure, and Monitor facility performance metrics to ensure targets are achieved in a timely and cost-effective manner.Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of all necessary reports and records regarding DC operations.Responsible for reporting and achieving goals for shipping accuracy, out of stocks, on time shipping, inventory accuracy and productivity.Ensures daily and timely completion of inventory cycle counts and Replens.Monitors space utilization /layout and maximize usage/take action on desired modifications.Maintains a safe, clean, GMP compliant work environment and an active, robust safety program.Coordinated and ensures daily and any required secondary deliveries to customers are performed.Develops, implements, and monitors processes to ensure that orders are processed, picked, checked, packed, and shipped in an efficient and timely manner same day. Every Order, Every Day.Acts as a key contact for Customer Service to quickly resolve customer issues.Coordinate with purchasing to improve efficiencies of products and sizes.Work with Inventory Control to research stocking issues, determine root cause of inventory variances, and develop mitigations to reduce and eliminate inventory variances.Manage, coach, mentor and develop Supervisors and staff to achieve prescribed objectives.Oversee recruitment and new hire process, ensure/reinforce Hanger policy and procedure are followed.Manage disciplinary processes and make staff change recommendations.Prepare, maintain and communicating all operational Standard Operating ProceduresMeet or exceed the DC P&L budget monthly.

Knowledge and Skill:

Previous success in designing warehouse operational workflows, pick paths, and processes.Knowledge of purchasing, shipping, receiving, picking, inventory control, delivery processes, quality control procedures and techniques for maximizing the effective distribution of goods.Knowledge of management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, distribution methods and coordination of people and resources.Ability to efficiently analyze information and make appropriate judgments.Ability to prepare and present reports in organized and effective. Demonstrated ability to convey information clearly, accurately, and effectively.Demonstrated ability to motivate, develop and direct people and identify the best people for the job.Ability to monitor/assess the performance and make improvements or take appropriate corrective action.Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications especially, Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook.Demonstrated ability to effectively manage own time as well of time of others.Ability to create a Great Place to Work with a culture of accountability, positive reinforcement, and rewards/recognition. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent related work experienceAt least 5 years of warehouse management experience

Some travel via automobile, airplane and other public transportation may be required. The employee must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.
