Job Description

DUTIES:                               Provide technical leadership to a team responsible for the analysis, design, and interpretation of program development using SQL and Teradata; analyze large data sets using Python, Pandas, Numpy, and R; perform statistical testing, test/control analysis, and forecasting using Bayesian A/B testing, Frequentist A/B testing, and time series forecasting; create workbooks using DataBricks; query data using AWS, DBeaver, Hive, HiveSQL, Looker, and Looker API; work with data modeling concepts, including primary keys, secondary keys, and joins; and develop data visualizations using Tableau; provide product management and conduct analyses on performance and business impact; develop Agile methodologies; deliver practical and actionable recommendations by translating analysis into insights and strategy; communicate findings using narrative-driven presentations and effective data visualization to stakeholders and decision makers; manage competing priorities through planned and ad-hoc work; support product owners in developing roadmaps and vision for new marketing capabilities implementation, prioritizing requirements, testing plans, and coordinating with end user community; coordinate with decisioning system platform owner, engineering teams and data scientists on recommended improvements and enhancements to platform and its capabilities; conduct analyses on business outcomes including commercial benefits, operational metrics, and model performance that can be used by the decisioning program to drive continuous improvement; identify opportunities to optimize, test and learn the changes to the intelligence layer of the platform; partner closely with product owners, data scientists, software development team to operationalize the proprietary advanced solutions; work with stakeholders to develop business goals, methodology considerations, and timing for analysis and reporting work; and guide and mentor junior-level analysts. Position is eligible for 100% remote work.

REQUIREMENTS:             Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and five (5) years of experience analyzing large data sets using SQL and Teradata; of which three (3) years include analyzing large data sets using Python, Pandas, Numpy, and R; performing statistical testing, test/control analysis, and forecasting using Bayesian A/B testing, Frequentist A/B testing, and time series forecasting; creating workbooks using DataBricks; querying data using AWS, DBeaver, Hive, and HiveSQL; working with data modeling concepts, including primary keys, secondary keys, and joins; and developing data visualizations using Tableau
